We unfortunately arrived very close to closing time and didn't have any opportunity to come back later, but the staff let us have a quick look around and it looked great! Lot's of interesting items and some interactive stuff for children.

I bought my ticket online and had to pick an approximate time to visit, as the website indicated that you needed to book in advance. However, I could have just turned up and paid at the gate/entrance. I will know for future reference!

The palace is beautiful. You really get a sense of the history and feel that you're walking in the footsteps of Scottish kings. There's something very atmospheric and mystical about the whole place which is lovely.

I enjoyed my walk around the palace. It's very much a family home and it's obviously well loved. The gardens/grounds are huge and there are plenty of well signposted walks around the estate. The gift shops are a bit over priced, but I think that's par for the course at any tourist site.

Most definitely worth a visit. If you have Scotland in your blood, you'll feel it!!

I should have read the reviews before we went. We might have found the car park and made sure we had room to enjoy the tea room! But we came for the gardens and they didn't disappoint. Small, but beautifully put together.

If I have a criticism it is that the maps available at the entrance aren't very helpful. One isn't going to get lost in 2 acres and so a small guide that illustrates where particular plants of interest are and a bit about the specific collections would be helpful and allow for a fuller appreciation of what is there. This is, after all, a gardener's garden and not a casual visitor's garden.

I visited Perth racecourse for first time in about 20 years on Wednesday 21st September.
Had the best of fun, the best of experiences and the staff were so kind and helpful and above all giving everyone the best of times. Some exciting racing, visitors from far and wide along with horses and trainers from far and wide. Great Racing. I went Solo and enjoyed every minute.
Well done Perth - TOP TRACK! FRIENDLY AND FUN..

Can't really complain given that it's free, but not a huge amount to see inside and not much of a visitor journey through the museum. Worth a look if you're nearby though.

We went with my older teenagers and were surprised by how much we learned from our short visit. Quite a few of the exhibits are interactive, some could be a bit upgraded. It was the end of the day so was very quiet. Staff very welcoming.

A lovely venue in the midst of the city of Perth that is well worth a visit. The concert hall is bright and modern, good access for all which is great to see. Good facilities for those with disabilities. A large foyer with ample seating, toilets, a reception desk with friendly and welcoming staff that are only too happy to answer questions about up coming shows, concerts. In the foyer a detailed list of upcoming shows too. A spacious bar and cafe area. Though always busy during shows and concerts intermissions. Have enjoyed many visits with family and friends to see Pantomines, shows and concerts. A fantastic venue that runs along side Perth Theatre. Good to support the local arts also. 🎫🎶🎬

We were in Perth to explore the City. We were passing and poked our head around the door and were welcomed in.

An interesting little gallery with lots of different art works in by different artists. Lots of different styles and themes which was good. Some really good pieces on display]

When we visited the exhibition was free of charge to enter with donations gratefully received and you were handed a guide to which artist had done which piece.

The upstairs was closed when were were there so I have no idea what is up there.

The St John the Baptist Church is located in the city centre of Perth. It is a beautiful old building and is very much in keeping with the surroundings.

I was pleased to see it is open for people to visit and also go and pray.

It is beautifully maintained and well presented.

Lovely big green grassy park with views of St Leonard’s in the Fields Church and lovely townhouses on the northern edge. The on-site cafe is a great place to buy a coffee to drink while sitting by the pond. There's also a nice statue of Sir Walter Scott Statue at the northern edge opposite King Street.

First of all the volunteers who manage this church are absolutely the most helpful and friendly people you can imagine, Victoria & Sue were just so kind and helpful. Initially we sought this place out as Outlander fans, but when you arrive the church setting and surroundings are simply stunning and of course if you are an Outlander fan it is so much fun to recreate the scenes inside here. There are super filming picture boards to see and read and a donations box you can leave something. Was really a stunning little church, if I won the lottery I would donate some money to the upkeep of this place as its simply a charming little church, even the layout inside of the pulpit and seats must be an awesome place for a wedding. Really enjoyed our visit. On their website where it says CONTACT US to make a visit etc please click on it as they are so helpful staff. I could only click on FAMILY WITH TEENS as the attendees, but we were actually 3 generations of family going to visit.
