The Old Man of Hoy Hoy
#1 of 23 Nature & Parks in Orkney Islands
As you come out of the car park, if you turn towards the left (instead of going straight and towards the right for the Man of Hoy walk), you can stroll towards the Rackwick beach and can have great views.
Nature at its best.
Brough Of Birsay Birsay
#2 of 23 Nature & Parks in Orkney Islands
Historically significant, interesting for nature lovers and an exhilarating hiking experience, even for novice hikers.
It was very peaceful and an amazing place to see, I would love to go back and recommend it to anyone who loves being close to nature.
Scapa Flow Kirkwall
#3 of 23 Nature & Parks in Orkney Islands
Park your car in Scapa Bay and beyond the pier under the cliffs is the resting place of HMS Royal Oak and her crew of 800+.
The nature of the sea, the 20thC history and the views of it from many Orkney places.
1 Way to experience it

Although this is well off the beaten track it's well worth a visit Park near the Gloup - then walk from the car park to the Gloup turn left and then continue for about a mile to the Brough of Deerness along the si...
Marwick Head RSPB Nature Reserve Mainland
#6 of 23 Nature & Parks in Orkney Islands
There is a small free car park around a 15 minute walk away from the cliffs at Marwick Head and the Kitchener & HMS Hampshire memorial.
However, Marwick Head is a nice place to visit, and the "climbing" from the car park to the hill is worth every single minute.
