What travellers are saying
- Mary MDublin, Ireland67 contributionsWe had a terrific experience at the Navan Fort, a site of great archaeological interest where the myths and legends were made real by our guide Connell. His knowledge and good humour really made it a very enjoyable day. Its a hidden gem and really worth a visit.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Olegunner131pjs88 contributionsAnother weekend stay at Gosford Forest park. Good pitch with about 15 other vans/caravans there. Toilets clean and a good hot shower. Lovely walks all around and a warm welcome from staff when we arrived. One of my favourites and only an hour from home.Written 30 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ghostchild2Athlone, Ireland248 contributionsBrought my kids 13 and 11. The expedition part is small enough but interesting with some great interactive parts. They also got to build a rocket which was fun. The highlight though has to be the Dome Show. It really is something else. We choice "Look Up" and it was very informative. We did the walk after and loved that too. Heard the wooden carvings are new and they are differently a great addition.Written 23 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 301lisa33Coventry, UK1,906 contributionsThis cathedral is by far the more interesting of the two in the city. It is up a hill, with space around it and a regal flight of steps up to it.
Fabulous interior with the walls all beautifully painted. There is some use of gilt but it is not dominantWritten 27 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. access, you have to buzz to be let in, but once you do, you are welcomed wholeheartedly. Up the stairs to the library with its books neatly arranged and it’s most important treasures on show. We were shown around by a proud and enthusiastic librarian, who offered to show us the library’s most important acquisitions and explain the history and purpose of the research library and its antiquarian collection. The library has a small children’s area, allowing parents to visit the library. It has good toilet facilities and a stair lift to improve accessibility. If you visit Armagh, visit this library.Written 10 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a wonderful guide Lorna who was very friendly and informative about the history of the Church in Ireland and St.Patrick who found the original Church on this site.Written 10 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NewryoneisbackNewry, UK1,894 contributionsWe go here a few times a year to enjoy the acts we like. Last night was Talon.
We have seen them before and hope to see them again. Talented Talon an Eagles tribute band that could give the band a run for its money.
The staff here are amazingly helpful and they are charming. They do make it special. We’ll be back soon thankfully for the Fureys without Finbar and a comedian on another night.
This place is a real asset to the community and it is a living credit to those who put it here and sustain it.Written 15 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
