Had a great time exploring this little museum. Interactive even for our 2 1/2 year old who enjoyed pressing the buttons. I can see how you would spend a few hours there. We were only there for 1hr 30mins; only because of my toddler.

The only thing with this place that was a disappointment was that prams had to be left at the front door. We were lucky and my parents had already opted to walk round the shops more; so gave them our pram to look after. I was definitely NOT leaving it at ground level.

Excellent exhibition (#PAOTY); super friendly, helpful staff; lovely venue; great food and service.

A very lovely, relaxed day, and warm, helpful service despite the cafe struggling with a wedding and a staff shortage. A nice range of good food from yea/coffee/cake right through to a full, classy lunch.

Everything is well laid out, clean, clearly signposted.

We will definitely be back. Thank you - especially to the lively lady in the cafe (who had lost her voice!)

Informative about the olden days, cheap enough to walk around and visit various bits and bobs including a few movies you can watch.

Popped in whilst in Stratford and saw the signs for ‘who stole the tarts’. We decided to have a go and was informed there was no characters today but that didn’t detract from the fun we had solving puzzles and riddles. A real whodunnit which was well thought out. Once back in the shop we were made to feel welcome and I loved the showaddywaddy music playing in the background. Well worth a visit.

A small but interesting museum that tells the story of Winston Churchill, with great artefacts. Also has details of British Commandos during World War 2 and their raid on Pegasus Bridge. Well worth a visit and its FREE as well, however we donated to Help the Heroes. Great local museum.

We happened upon this place and popped in to have a look around.

The owners are really friendly and there is plenty of interesting art.

I loved the polar bear in the corner so very much but it was over my budget.

We picked up on this museum through Trip Advisor and added it to our list for a weekend away.
No obvious parking, so we parked in the "main" road behind a number of other cars user by walkers.
We did not realise that the exhibition was actually in the church, and our visit on a Sunday could have conflicted with either a church service or the church being locked. However, when we arrived there was no planned service and the church was open - all good.
The exhibition is at the back of the church, arranged around the baptismal font and bell ropes. There is a surprising amount of information squeezed into this small space; costumes, weapons and information stands, which also explain the background to the English Civil War. There is also a video presentation where various re-enactors tell their story of the battle.
The church itself is also worth a look, some lovely medieval architecture.

I would highly recommend a Pottery Dottery party, Julie and her mum were so professional, welcoming and made the event extra special for my 4 year old and his friends. Pottery painting, pass the parcel, singing & hand waving tailor made for their needs – thank you for a great party, we all loved it, lots of memories and more importantly beautifully wrapped masterpieces to take home!

The children enjoyed dressing up for the simulated performances. It was a lot of work for them but they found it well worth it.

The Old Slaughterhouse Heritage and Arts Centre showcases local artists and sells unique handmade gifts and artwork. There is plenty of informational displays and memorabilia pertaining to Stratford’s history. They also have a cafe that serves homemade desserts, hot and cold beverages.

If like me , you have a passion for the railways, this place is a must visit. The owner Mr Cowan has opened up a small historic house, to show off his model layouts of Stratford Upon Avon railway, and all the memorabilia he has collected over many years, it is a step back in time, with some very unique items in his collection. He also has such a wealth of information regards the railway in this part of the country, and loves to impart this information to visitors. It is a free museum, but being an old house, it is small, but is well worth a visit. Highly Recommended.
