Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- DrHayley17 contributionsGorgeous store with beautiful products and excellent service. I particularly loved the Christmas decorations. My only criticism was that it was extremely busy with long queues for the (very small) lifts.Written 26 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - knowsnyc870 contributionsWe took a splendid walk with Paul Olins in this neighborhood. He also offers walks through other neighborhoods, as do his fellow Greeters. This is free, but you can treat your greeter to coffee or lunch. Allow 2+ hours.
This service exists in 140 cities worldwide. We saw and learned things we otherwise would not have. He is wonderful.Written 3 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We all loved it and will be eating there again.Written 21 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- emma bDriffield, UK154 contributionsA wonderful display of Christmas and all for free, take a walk down Bond Street and marvel at the way the shops are decorated, and just revel in the festive feel’s without spending any money, it’s also quieter than other areas so is much more enjoyableWritten 17 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hendrik_NLVlaardingen, The Netherlands8,092 contributionsYou can say that London is a stuffy, busy, noisy metropolis, but it is a fact that London boasts the best parks. Green Park is one of the long list of parks that breaks the pressure of stone, asphalt and traffic. Take a walk through Green Park and the reward is a confrontation with Buckingham Palace and an even better park. St. James's Park. In the summer, when the weather is clement, deck chairs can be rented, sometimes a sea of deck chairs cover the grass. Green Park is also popular with the office workers for a relaxing lunch.Written 28 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Glyn EHayling Island, UK6,304 contributionsI have to say I was underwhelmed by the current Rafael, Leonardo, Michelangelo Exhibition.
I love the RA, appreciate my Friends' membership and love the Poster Bar, the Members' restaurant and the free lockers.
My background is Photography, but personally I prefer the exquisite pen and ink drawings of Durer. Another favourite gallery, the Albertina in Wien (Vienna, see separate reviews), holds the largest collection of his work in Europe.
I understand the history (my degree) but the drawings @ the RA are tiny and a little in distinct.
I appreciate the brush work of the paintings, but for me they are all based on fables and mysteries which I do not subscribe too.
Loved your Hockney Shows and the delightful Helene Binet.

It is always satisfying to look at the stylish shop fronts and marvel at the shops. However, this time I had some reservations. While appealing to a large audience of course, I wondered why Burlington Arcade needed a boost from the James Bond theme. Maybe the answer was in my observation, that several shops were boarded up. Hopefully, those shops will get new operators soon and Burlington Arcade will be Burlington Arcade again without the spy theme.Written 5 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ferr3816Virginia Beach, United States37 contributionsTo be honest, not much to see at all, but in a historical point of view, it's really cool just looking up and thinking about that day in January 1969.Written 9 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Debbie ABoston, MA157 contributionsLovely small garden square in the Mayfair area of London developed in the mid-1700's. It used to be 'the' embassy location housing both the American and Canadian embassies. There are other notable 'locations' still - house of John Adams, military headquarters of Dwight Eisenhower, tribute to '9-11', War World II victims, and Franklin Roosevelt. There several benches along the parameter which make this a lovely relaxing place on a nice London evening. Sadly during our stay there was a lot of construction at what used to be the US embassy building causing road closures, pedestrian walkway deviations, and noise. It also seems that some of the wealthy that live in this area with their fancy expensive sport cars love to race around the square revving their engines for all to hear. This is unfortunate as this is a lovely place to relax after a long day visiting in LondonWritten 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chanice-MarieNottinghamshire, UK378 contributionsMy partner and I were waiting for our coach and wanted somewhere to sit, lovely area. Beautiful statues and pleasant, peaceful place to watch the world go by.
Free to enter and sit, close to the underground and lots of buses, local to shops.

The prices are not for the faint of heart, but where else can you buy a tiara?
All of the vendors were friendly, even if you were just window shopping, and I had a good time.Written 2 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
