Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

+ Super gallery. Free. The highlights are a must.

    - the daily 2.30 pm tour gets full. How are you supposed to know? The restaurant is very highly priced (ÂŁ11 for small cup of soup and tiny toast) and rather condescending.

Particularly 221b Baker Street, the home of the literary character Sherlock Holmes.
Street is also home to The London Beatles Store (next door) and a number of significant buildings.
For me the Street is associated with the 1980's Gerry Rafferty hit of the same name.
    Worth a wander.

As the title of my review says - have a wander. It's not the most exciting area of London but does have some nice eating places and shops. Not a lot, though, unless I went down the wrong streets.

Christmas shop was great loved the lay out. Tasters were great particularly the lady on walkers shortbread and the Selfridge tea. The Selfridge tea lady was really friendly and helpful and I bought the tea because of her! Shop was very crowded but I guess that is inevitable.

Booked this venue for a group of 10 for a hen party and I am so glad I did because we all had THE BEST TIME!
Firstly shout out to Chelsey who was so helpful in organising our visit and who made sure we were completely looked after the whole time by all the staff.
We booked the carnival games because none of us had done it here before and I am so glad we did because we had a lot of fun battling against each other for the highest scores in the games. There was also a wide variety of carnival games to choose from meant we didn’t get bored.
The venue is also very aesthetically pleasing. The area we were sat in looked like a beautiful bandstand/ gazebo which meant we got some lovely photos together with the bride to be.
The food and drink variety was also great - plenty of options to cater for vegetarians/ pescatarians/ those who didn’t drink alcohol.
Overall we had an amazing time and so would definitely recommend it to those booking an event or those who are just looking for a fun activity in London.

We have absolutely nothing to complain about. Lovely apartment, nice beds, close to everything.

You live in the middle of the city so some sounds were expected. Close to Hyde Park for some running.

Some smell from the apartment, don’t know what but it wasn’t enough to complain about.

The only thing that was bad (for us) was that we arrived at 11 and check in was at 15 and we wish we could dump our bags att the place so we could enjoy the hours in London without the baggage.

But…we will happy to come back to St.Christophers Place some day.

Been there for a music concert and found it great place. Beautiful interiors, and exceptionally the light changes during the concert as the sun sets due to the large glass roof. Staff was e tr extra super cool and helpful.
    Really enjoyed classic music.

At The Sportsman Casino, Marble Arch, my wife and I, along with family and friends, always enjoy exceptional service and a new discovery each day, thanks to the multi-talented team.

Here's a glimpse of their unique skills:

Mr. Matti: We lovingly call him the "Cheb Khalid of London." His voice and music are as mesmerizing as the star himself—and he even resembles him! Every performance feels like a private Cheb Khalid concert.

Mr. Fady: Known to us as the “Eagle Eye of Egypt,” Fady has an uncanny ability to read people like a chief judge, ensuring everyone is happy. His warm smile can turn any grumpy mood around.

Mr. Joshi & Mr. Elio: True leaders, these two don’t hesitate to roll up their sleeves. Whether it's picking up plates or taking orders, they lead by example, showing that no task is too small. Fady often joins in, reinforcing this great teamwork.

Ms. Rachel: A multitasker and tech wizard, Rachel impresses both as a receptionist and a "professor" teaching members online registration. Her hidden talent as a raffle host was a delightful surprise, showcasing her TV-presenter charm.

Ms. Giodana & Ms. Summer: Their artistic flair shines in every cup of hot chocolate or cappuccino, with creative cocoa designs that warm the heart.

In fact, the entire staff is second to none, blending efficiency with an array of talents.

We shall appreciate if our compliments are shared with the Managers, Supervisors, and Staff, as it will make us happy.

We wish the entire team at The Sportsman Casino continued success in all their endeavours!© Ash-Cash on Google and Ash & Karen on TripAdvisor

This is my favourite book shop. Love the selection of books and the recommendations which I often buy. It has a great atmosphere too and the staff are always so helpful.

Very beautiful Church - both inside and outside - located adjacent to Durrants Hotel on George Street.

Access is open all day while services are not in session. Certainly worth a perusal.

There are so many really bad unfair casinos. This is not one of them. I have gambled around the world, mainly playing blackjack. Some casinos cheat like hell. Not this particular branch. I have been to some Grosvenor Casino branches that are absolute rubbish with the worst and most impossible cards and outcomes. Again, this one on Edgware Road is OK. They have a fantastic mix of dealers of ALL ethnicities, which is so refreshing to see. I strongly recommend this casino. NB. There are no guarantees on winning, but I feel it is one of the more fair casinos

Excellent service. I have used this company a few times now. Very reasonably priced, I was kept informed of where the driver was throughout, exceptional level of service, particularly from the driver who collected me from Heathrow on Monday (he remembered that he had picked me up before) and he went above and beyond to make the journey seamless. He didn’t disturb me but was happy to have a chat when I initiated it. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I will be booking again shortly and would love to have the same driver (I don’t know his name unfortunately) pick me up again.

Absolutely great! What a find! Free and very interesting. Packed full of arms and millitaria but also fascinating paintings, ceramics and beautiful rooms to admire. Really enjoyed looking around this place. So glad we came.
