Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I bought this as an experience day treat for my boyfriend and we went down to the Docklands site at the beginning of October. He loves any kind of adrenaline/water activity and had a brilliant time. Steve is a really cool guy, they had a good laugh and we would thoroughly recommend. My boyfriend said he felt like iron man!!

My 8 year old, along with her friends, attended the taster day in May. For £10 the children could try out the 4x Water sports. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the day was FANTASTIC.
The staff were patient with the children, very knowledgable and I felt completely at ease when they took the children off across the water.
The children were taught the basics and then the instructors played some fun games whilst still on the water.
I wasn’t sure how long the session might be as it was a drop-in but the kids ended up staying out all day. Elated but exhausted by the end of it!
They loved it so much, we’ve booked them all into the Summer Holiday activity week. Another accessible, inclusive programme of water sport which giving living in London, is an amazing provision.

Flew last weekend. Turned up to watch a friend fly as had got him the flight as a birthday present. The guys running it were fantastically friendly, and having had a no-show they were able to fit me in and get me up flying. My 6yr old lad was amazed when I showed him pics of me flying around with a jetpack. Very very good fun !

Home Ed Sailing has been a great experience here.
The main man, Ben, is down to earth and straight to the point. He is welcoming and open. The instructor, Tom, is young and bubbly and great with the children.
The 18 children that attend there almost weekly have been enjoying their time within the centre. Both the children and the parents love Tom.

It is hard to find a good centre that genuinely care about the children and want to enhance their confidence and ability.

We have had a pleasant experience since mid 2021.

Would recommend for children, with and/or without SEN and families.

I was traveling from the US with my 21 year old son and wanted something different to do. I was lucky enough to find the website for Glide3, a company run by Alex Woodroffe and Jo Locascio, that gives hovercraft lessons. Jo answered my emails in a very timely manner, had a travel itinerary waiting for us at our London hotel, and Alex was waiting at the train station to pick us up. We had a delightful afternoon in the English countryside learning how to hovercraft on water and land. We ended the day with hot chocolate and mince pies. We were back in London by dark. Alex and Jo are both very personable and I highly recommend this travel experience.
