Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Maps040963740201 contributionMy friend and I did the BSUPA Ready2Ride Stand Up Paddle Board Group Course with instructors John and Sarah. We had a great time, learned a lot and feel confident to start our paddle boarding lives! They provided all equipment (board, paddle, wetsuit, life jacket). We were out on the water for >90min - so much fun. Value for money. Highly recommendWritten 3 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Abundantli365Waltham Forest, UK18 contributionsWe had the best time, pictures by die water with the Canary Wharf backdrop, a hall to dance in, super helpful event coordinator (Amy) and team of awesome people to help us. Everyone came to ask us who the food suppliers were as the BBQ (yes in winter!) was excellent quality. It was a very affordable wedding for 60 people. They even cut our three layered cake up for us, cook and everyone so professional and a dream to liaise with. Well stocked bar and variety of menus to choose from. It was such a stressless venue for us and lovely as we had a date here early on in our relationship and I used to live around the corner many years ago. They even arranged the DJ. Thank you for making our Special day so enjoyable and God bless you for all your help!Written 11 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jenny D6 contributionsI bought this as an experience day treat for my boyfriend and we went down to the Docklands site at the beginning of October. He loves any kind of adrenaline/water activity and had a brilliant time. Steve is a really cool guy, they had a good laugh and we would thoroughly recommend. My boyfriend said he felt like iron man!!Written 16 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- stevew3021Manchester, UK2 contributionsFlew last weekend. Turned up to watch a friend fly as had got him the flight as a birthday present. The guys running it were fantastically friendly, and having had a no-show they were able to fit me in and get me up flying. My 6yr old lad was amazed when I showed him pics of me flying around with a jetpack. Very very good fun !Written 13 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jeanie ELondon, UK4 contributionsThe Receptionist Manager(?) at Surrey Docks Centre is ignorant and has an attitude that stinks. If I behaved like her I would be fired from my job. What does she think she is being paid a salary for? She doesn't look at anyone, or say hello. Instead of taking ownership of a serious health and safety complaint, she became defensive and made the conversation all about her. I was expecting her to play the race card next, so I walked away and took the time to write to the Manager which was a total waste of time. The coffee machine was out of order for months, is it that difficult to put a sign and unplug it? Never mind that I had a mouth full of mould.
This centre should be reported to the council, in light of the lack of hygiene, particularly in the changing room, yet nobody takes ownership.Written 27 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was lucky enough to find the website for Glide3, a company run by Alex Woodroffe and Jo Locascio, that gives hovercraft lessons. Jo answered my emails in a very timely manner, had a travel itinerary waiting for us at our London hotel, and Alex was waiting at the train station to pick us up. We had a delightful afternoon in the English countryside learning how to hovercraft on water and land. We ended the day with hot chocolate and mince pies. We were back in London by dark. Alex and Jo are both very personable and I highly recommend this travel experience.Written 22 November 2005This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
