Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Driver and car excellent. The set up at airport to get to car is a bit chaotic. On booking I believed I’d be met after security by driver holding a card with my name. Instead had to make my way to a spot sent to me by photo to let them know I was there and then a further 10 min wait to be told driver waiting outside. Had to then make own way outside and try to find the car among the many waiting there. Other than that, the journey was smooth and comfortable

It was a really nice experience, not at least because of the friendly staff at the desk and while boarding and unboarding. My daughter in a wheelchair was very helped by the staff. Especially Marc at the Greenwichside was very friendly.

    PROS
    * A very busy and famous international train station
    * It is the terminus of world-famous international EuroStar and also of other high speed railway lines
    * It is very busy and very crowded- apparently always
    * It has a most interesting and iconic world-famous 19th century architecture inside and outside
    * There are modern 21st century stores shops restaurants and lighting inside
    * There are many public benches for the totally exhausted
    * There are two classic wrought iron statues about people traveling
    * There is a food and adequate, visible and active police and security presence
    * This station is centrally located and next to the British Library and within walking distance to the British Museum
    * It is adjacent to Kings Cross station and very near Euston station

    CONS
    * It is always crowded and busy with people running in all different directions- unless they are exhausted and sprawling on the benches

    "I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... because I took the EuroStar from London to Amsterdam.

I arrived at 0500 and briefly walked though the not crowded 0500H place- there were even then a good number of people there..

Processing the massive crowds registering for the Eurostar trains was good and efficient

    WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
It is free to visit but traveling on a train costs money

WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?
Sure, since this is the way to travel between London and the continent,

    ADVICES
    * "Visit" here if you need this international railway terminal
    * "Visit" here if you want to see the world famous architecture

This is your mega station for all connections, dining, hotels, attractions, Hyde Park, and so much more!
Check out the Paddington Bear statue, the huge Wild Table of Love installation, the man in the clock!
The Paddington Basin is just across the street with restaurants on boats and houseboats anchored!

Gets way to busy. Fast though. Normally very crowded and don't always get a sea t. Extremely noisy. Fun

    Would reccomend if:
You don't mind noise and crowd/comfort

    Wouldn't reccomend if:
You hate noise and need a seat with some space

This is an easy station to navigate, arriving from the underground, platforms are straight in front of you. Most staff are helpful.

very nice driver, however as plane landed on time, we arrived early out of customs/baggage area and had to wait for the driver for 40 minutes.
I think the driver should have been there early, when plane landed.

I had Blackberry pick up my father in Gatwick and take him to Heathrow. Reverse on the return flight. He had nothing but praise for the drivers and service. Thank you for helping my fathers journey be stress free.

The journey was exactly as it said, quick on time. Down side is there is a long walk from terminal 2 to the station although terminal 5 was closer. I got a family ticket but you scan that and the gate only allows for 1 person to pass through not the whole group

The communication prior to our pickup was clear and concise, and gave us an assurance that we were dealing with a professional company. On arrival, the vehicle was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We had no problems and would definitely use them again!

I'm not sure why London busses are considered an attraction, when they are in effect just a standard transport service that you could find in any major town and city.

Perhaps it is the romanticism attached to the notion of big red double deckers winding their way through smoky streets, or perhaps whoever set this TripAdvisor profile up were thinking of the open top bus tours you can take in the city. I don't know.

My experience of London busses lacked the aforementioned romanticism, as I took the Number 100 (a single decker) from Wapping to St. Paul's.

It was on time, very clean, and was a nice smooth journey. I've always been a bit too reliant on the tube in London, and it was nice to utilise the bus network for once.

I would definitely use it again!

We arrived from the Northern line on our way to ‘The Old Vic’, which was a short walk away.

Someone mentioned in a review that it was like an airport and certainly the long travellator on the way back to the Northern Line northbound platform was just like in an airport.

I’m amazed how every year the Underground system gets better and better. I guess it’s one of the reasons so many people want to live in London where property prices are high.
