Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Rob WLondon6 contributionsWhen asking what a friend of mine what he wanted to do for his birthday, he said that he would really love to try clay pigeon shooting. All the people that he wanted to invite live in London and I didn't think that it was possible to find anywhere close by but one of our group looked into it and came across this place. He called them up to enquire and they said that they don't really do pre bookings, you can just turn up and they will accommodate you.
So a group of 9 of us met up yesterday at Finsbury Park, a train took 25 mins to Gordon hill, then a 5 min taxi ride from the station to the venue.
While there was 9 of us, I missed the train, so was running an hour late but when I got there, they fast tracked me in so I could join the rest of the group.
All in all, the day was a great success, our group was there for around 2 1/2 hours, the staff were great, really down to earth but also attentive and although none of our group have shot before, we all came away in agreement that we would like to make this a regular event.
The icing on the cake (literally) at the end was that when we had finished shooting, the manager/ owner came out with a cake for the birthday boy.
While it might if of been mentioned when enquiringly, we didn't ask for it but it was a really nice gesture from them.
Really great day from start to finish
Thank you from all of us.Written 11 December 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - roo263London, UK113 contributionsThis is a lovely little gem tucked away behind Muswell Hill.
I did the beginner package where you learn to do basic archery and try lots of different styles of shooting.
I really enjoyed the course and found it very helpful and informative.
They have just built a new clubhouse which they are rightly proud of, which is more comfortable and clean than the building that used to be there.
The actual archery takes place outdoors on their fields which give the feeling of being in the countryside somewhere.
The archery is very relaxed and while there is an element of competition, its very friendly and well run.
If you can, try to be with Hakkan, he’s really knowledgeable, patient and funny.
When I have a bit more time on my hands I will be joining.Written 11 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
