Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have only seen lords on my television set. It was a dream come true when I visited lords this october. The check-in was seamless with a very quick bag check. The guide and his assistant Isaac was awesome throughout the tour. They kept us engaged and interested with interesting anecdotes during the whole tour. For me the best part of it was listening to the short story about the ashes trophy from our wonderful guide and knowing about what happens there when an actual game is hosted.

"Visiting the All England Lawn Tennis Club, famously known as Wimbledon, was an absolute thrill for me! As a tennis enthusiast, walking on the same courts where legends have played was surreal. The history and tradition embedded in every corner of the club were palpable. The museum provided fascinating insights into the evolution of tennis and Wimbledon's rich heritage. The guided tour was informative and engaging, making me appreciate the sport even more. A must-visit for tennis fans!"I bought a railcard on trainpal and got a 20% discount when I entered the RC777E code! Hope to help those who come to the UK to play~

Wow! What a brilliant trip to the velodrome. Having been bought a flying lap for taster day for Christmas. I was excited and had a brilliant time trying. Staff were attentive and chatty, helping us make the most of our experience. Flying lap is a must if with family and friends to put yourselves against each other and see who’s fastest. Highly recommend

The Castle is an iconic north London climbing centre, with rope climbing (top rope, lead and auto belay) and bouldering available. As with any other gym in London, you'll need to sign a waiver and answer a few safety questions if it's your first visit. If you're hiring shoes, or a harness, you can hire them from the small cafe opposite the entrance to the main building.

At peak times, the centre can get very busy, so try and pop in at a quieter moment to enjoy, if you can (late morning/early afternoon on week days). Remember also to take a pound coin for the lockers.

The variety of routes here is good and they change fairly frequently, so there's always a new challenge (you can find the setting rota behind reception). There is also a new outdoor bouldering area, which is lovely to relax in on sunny days. My only gripe is that a larger warm-up area would be helpful.

Check out the garden - fresh veg is grown here to make food in the cafe! Coffee here is great, if you're in need of a break, and there are plenty of vegan food options.

I find it odd that past reviews mention issues with staff? Everyone I meet at The Castle has been friendly and helpful.

Pool is great .... was busy when I was there - but can't complain about that .... it's London !

But ....... not everyone is a regular ........ and knows what to do - where to go ....

I drove into the car park .... thought I should have a ticket - but didn't .... couldn't see any signs.

I said to lady at reception that I hadn't been there before - but I didn't get any instructions on where to go ...
I said I didn't have a parking ticket - she gave me phone number of car park.
She wrote down the number wrong - but i have enough life experience to get person to read out the number and double check it - so that disaster was averted !

I swam - it was great.

Post swim ... came out ... walked all the way around to the car.
I thought attendant might have to come and help - and I didn't want them hanging around while I walked from Aquatic Centre to parking.

Got to car .... rang car park number.

He said 'don't need ticket' auto registration number photo .... just go to machine and pay.

I walked back to the machine.... it said £45 !!!!! I had only been in there an hour ....

Rang car park again .... he said go to machine inside the centre and it will calculate for the time you have been inside ....

I walked back around to the Aquatic Centre ......

I was laughing by now ..... but really ..... some signage for newbies would be great !
Or a trained / empathic reception person who could have helped ..... and saved me half an hour !!!

Lovely swim in a fantastic quirky throwback. Affordable prices,.clean, friendly staff. Great to swim in the open air after a day of travelling. Yeah its old but I can't think of another pool with the same charms.

So I paid for 4 flight times for my 11 year old daughter before hand then a VIP one on arrival (so 5 in total)

Firstly: don’t bother doing the photo & video package which I paid £15 for as I took better photos myself, I thought there would be like a printed photo but it was just 100+ blurry photos.

It would have at least made sense if there wasn’t people sitting opposite the dome so at least the photos would have the logo in but instead they all have random people sitting in the background.

Also I paid £20 extra in arrival for the ‘high fly’ which actually only went half way up so my daughter was very disappointed.

However, Jaiden seemed polite, patient and helpful with my daughter. She enjoyed but definitely wouldn’t pay to go there again unfortunately as we didn’t exactly get what we assumed we had paid for.

I visited the Vauxwall East center alot earlier this year and was a member before I moved out of London. But while I was there I had a really bad injury which resulted in an ambulance coming as I couldnt move off the mat. The staff stayed by me the whole time, they were extremely compassionate and caring to the point that even the ambulance crew were saying that they've never seen a climbing gym so caring with an injured climber. This experience, despite an awful injury, really made me appreciate the staff working there and 100% is the safest I've felt at a gym. The routes are great aswell and an amazing variety but that is nothing compared to the compassion and experience of the staff if something does, unfortunately, goes wrong

I’ve been summoning up the courage to swim here for a while. An unheated open air pool in Britain is always going to feel slightly chilly when you first get in, no matter how hot the weather gets.
I finally decided to go for the first time last week. Hampstead Heath tweets the pool temperatures and it was 22°. The Olympic pool in Stratford is heated to 26° and most local leisure centre lap pools will be 27° or 28° in comparison.
I love lap swimming so went at 7:00am. And wow, what an experience. There were loads of other swimmers. The pool is divided into five extra wide lanes - one slow, two medium, two fast. Plenty of room to overtake down the middle if necessary. In a 60 metre pool, it’s hard to space out in the normal way, but despite sharing a lane with about 14 other people, I didn’t get held up like I sometimes do in my normal pool. It’s chilly when you first get in, but then after your first length it’s just perfect! Refreshing and feels “healthy”! It also seems very clean and the steel floor reflects the sunlight beautifully. I swam 2040 metres and then had a shower. The changing rooms are definitely rather rustic. Showers are a bit temperamental and there are no doors on the changing cubicles. Also quite dirty. But… I wasn’t expecting anything else to be honest. A fancy modern changing room would have kind of spoiled the atmosphere.
I’ve been back twice more since my first visit last week. The hot weather and sunshine helps. Highly recommend that early morning swim to start the day. Parking is free on nearby streets until 10:00 too. Oh and the café serves decent food if you get peckish!

Great place to have a swim. I can swim here and not notice a chlorine smell. Other pools indoors make me gag due to the smell. This pool is great as there is no horrible smell. I have now taken up swimming once a week as it's cheap and convenient.
Nice changing area and good lockers.

FastFins swimming school which runs a 7 level swimming programme at The Imperial College Ethos Pool is the best swimming school in London bar none. We have been attending classes here for 5 years and even though we moved to Harrow about 18 months ago we still venture into town twice a week to take classes here.

The quality is in the teaching and the technical they teach the children are exceptional.

If you venture out if central London you will definitely find better facilities but I have never been able to find instruction even close to what they offer,

kids love it as the adults, only things wrong are
they should stop the idiots that think because they can "stake" gives them the right to wizz round the ice showing off
the little gangs that seems to gather in the centre of the ice "showing off their skills " at one stage a girl who was from the class before was shouting at the children to move out of her way because she was a professional and needed to practice

you really do need a bit more control on the ice of these idiots , my little one was almost sent flying by someone skating backwards

apart from these morans its a great afternoon out - but do check the times

Played tennis only once...but I will be glad to come back. Four indoor courts and some more outside, good surface (hard), quite fast. Impressive stadium for hockey, even if I was not interested on this sport. And the Olympic area is just fantastic place!
