Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A must see when in London. Church is beautiful. Outside part reminds me of Harry Potter. Cool to see Stephen Hawking grave/tile? The unknown soldier and the coronation chair are pretty cool to see as well. The history here…. Just go!

Amazing place to check out. They have a variety of tour options from self guided audio tours to small group guided tours. Audio tour was very informative and the buildings were gorgeous.

We visited the View from the Shard after i received an Experience Voucher as a gift. I had never personally been the this particular activity before or even up The Shard so i was quite excited.

When we arrived to the viewpoint we were aware there was a speaker/tour guide but we caught the tail end of it and was unsure of how often these were so sadly we just missed it. The bar wasn’t too bad, reasonably priced and friendly staff and there is a selection of tables/seating around the viewing area to sit down and have a drink.

Overall it’s good to do once and then maybe again in a few years time when the skyline probably changes.

First time At the Royal Albert Hall for a gig and from the first moment until I left I was struck by how friendly and helpful the staff were.
We love live music and have been to many venues in the UK and abroad - this really is the best from my perspective.
The acoustics, facilities and, most of all, the staff make this stand out from the rest.

    PROS
    * A very busy and famous international train station
    * It is the terminus of world-famous international EuroStar and also of other high speed railway lines
    * It is very busy and very crowded- apparently always
    * It has a most interesting and iconic world-famous 19th century architecture inside and outside
    * There are modern 21st century stores shops restaurants and lighting inside
    * There are many public benches for the totally exhausted
    * There are two classic wrought iron statues about people traveling
    * There is a food and adequate, visible and active police and security presence
    * This station is centrally located and next to the British Library and within walking distance to the British Museum
    * It is adjacent to Kings Cross station and very near Euston station

    CONS
    * It is always crowded and busy with people running in all different directions- unless they are exhausted and sprawling on the benches

    "I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... because I took the EuroStar from London to Amsterdam.

I arrived at 0500 and briefly walked though the not crowded 0500H place- there were even then a good number of people there..

Processing the massive crowds registering for the Eurostar trains was good and efficient

    WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
It is free to visit but traveling on a train costs money

WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?
Sure, since this is the way to travel between London and the continent,

    ADVICES
    * "Visit" here if you need this international railway terminal
    * "Visit" here if you want to see the world famous architecture

Beautiful historical building, so much maritime heritage to see, and the tours of the Painted Hall were excellent. So much more to see in the surrounding area as well.

I love the idea on how they have transformed this old power station to a great mall and outside area for play etc., but we found it was difficult to find our way around because of lack of signs. Also, we found there were too few staircases between the floors, and I also thought that most of the stores were aimed for young people. But we enjoyed the variety of eating places and that there were some sitting places where my husband could sit while I went shopping. I also enjoyed how much "air" it was in the mall, and I loved the "The friendship bench" by Gillie and Marc

Great view as expected but they could do more to help visitors but having boards pointing out the main sights and perhaps telescopes. They do an amusing talk about the Shard on the upper level but there is nothing to tell you when they are doing this, we just came across it in progress.

What a wonderful venue for a classical concert .. Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.. such talented musicians ! Big, big shout out to Wendy the supervisor in the crypt cafe who went out of her way to help me find my phone when I got into a state . She was so kind and caring and a real great ambassador for the church .

Myself and 3 others visted Freemasons Hall for a Meeting on Saturday, alongwith a Guided Tour earlier in the day. Upon arriving, having not been there before, we were greated at the front desk by John and Santiago, both part of the Security Team, who couldn't do enough for us. They not only took the time to have a chat, but also showed us exactly where we had to go, nothing was too much trouble.
The tour was extremely informative, and was enjoyed by Masons and Non-Masons. By far the highlight of our trip to London was the tour guide opening the doors into the Grand Temple, just standing there in complete amazement, the whole tour was speechless. A must visit in my opinion, highly recommended!

The gallery is quite small so it can get crowded just due to spatial reality. I would focus on an exhibit you want to see then go - the permanent collection is good but only about 5 rooms. I am a fan of Monet so I found the exhibit worth it and well curated.

The Gherkin as it is popularly known, is one of London’s most well-known skyscrapers. Cool as a cucumber and uniquely shaped.

it has earned itself a coveted place in the hearts of Londoners and among the enduring icons of Buckingham Palace, The London Eye, St Paul’s, and Big Ben as one of London’s great buildings

its actual name is the name of the street where it is: 30 St Mary Axe. It’s in the financial heart of London known as the City Of London. It was opened in 2004 and it’s 180m tall. It’s not the tallest building in London but it’s definitely one of the most interesting ones.

We couldn’t go on a steaming day but decided to visit anyway . It was fantastic from the greeting when you get to the little train . The introduction followed by a tour with enthusiastic volunteers .
    The engineering is awe inspiring
