Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- BugtownboyIlminster, UK58 contributionsAmazing antique/collectibles dealer collective - things you probably find anywhere else. You could spend all day here if you wanted to.

- Penny BrownEl Paso, TX3 contributionsApproximately 40 vendors with a selection of unique and beautiful antique jewelry, some porcelains, and a little militaria, sterling silver items. About 2 hours to visit. A little confusing to get to as it’s on a split street a mews?? I wasn’t in the market for emeralds and pearls so I couldn’t Judge the prices. Beautiful things. If you’re in the market for fine antique jewelry this is the place.Written 1 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NO2VALondon, UK138 contributionsWent to this market to buy seafood and found what I needed at great prices. I will definitely keep going back on a weekly or biweekly basis. The fish shop near me was charging £42 for a kilo for prawns and they charged me £20 for a sea bass filet. At the Church St market, the prawns were like £12 a kilo and the sea bass was like £5. Definitely worth it to walk to Church Street!! Although I wasn’t looking to buy produce, it looked so good and was priced really well so I got great tasting strawberries that were big and beautiful! I also got great oranges and radishes. The market also has all sorts of clothes and other goods. Overall, a great find, I’ll definitely go back.Written 31 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NeodoubleLondon, United Kingdom258 contributionsSecond hand shop, antiques, whatevers, it has so many different things. I've always found something here that I've loved. - macedonboyGlasgow, UK157,833 contributionsAlso known as Bermondsey Antique Market, this is a regular market of local traders selling a mixture of antiques and collectables. There were a lot of dinner sets, cutlery and jewellery on sale and a few stalls selling clothes and and military memorabilia. I especially like some of the stalls selling coloured glass. Everything that was marked with a price seemed reasonable, but I didn't try to haggle for anything that was unmarked.
Could be a quick or long visit depending on what you're interested in.Written 19 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Certainly worth a rummage around old oil psintings, warcges, jewellery, pottery and much else besides.Written 4 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lee JonesChepstow, UK21 contributionsI spoke to Daniel on the phone, and he directed me to their shop in London, I think it's on Maddox Street in Mayfair, as I did see a few of interest on the website, but killed 2 birds with one stone by visiting the shop whilst going to see a show at the West End. I was a bit blown away by the amount of clocks there in the first place and was shown around the different floors, and was very impressed by the quality of the clocks, and also Daniels knowledge of each one, but some where way out of my price range.
Finally got myself a small bracket clock, and arranged to pick it up on the Monday just before we left. A great antique clock shop right in the middle of London, with very knowledgeable owners, who cant do enough for you really. Would recommend these guys if anyone looking for antique clocks, and I think they have furniture there too.Written 16 December 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Owner was quiet but really kind and helpful and obviously very knowledgable about Asian antiques in particular when we asked. Already planning the next trip back!Written 11 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bianca WLondon, UK1,054 contributionsGorgeous, little toy shop with heaps of little toys for babies, toddlers, and olde4 children, as well as a vast selection of doll house furniture, accessories, wallpapers, rugs, and dolls of all kinds. There's so much to see here!
It's a magical atmosphere, but there's not a lot of space in this crammed shop, so don't come with a large group all at once.
If you're looking for specialty doll house items, you're sure to find them here!Written 13 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great 20th Century pieces in the basement from Designs of Modernity which brought us here via this guys website.. but the other 4 floors are full of amazing furniture from Georgian to 50s and 60sWritten 8 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
