Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Maria L1 contributionThe best bar in the whole town, maybe even the world. Keifen was the highlight of my evening and I would definitely returnWritten 14 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- steph1994xxSt. Albans, UK8 contributionsThis was our 3rd year at the Christmas Brunch, we had a lovely time and it’s great value for money! Lovely atmosphere. Only slight disappointment was that on previous years, the staff/performers dress up for the Christmas theme (including the grinch) but this year there was no dress up so didn’t feel quite as festive/unique. We sat that the other Archer Street staff did dress up though so seemed to just be Soho. But overall it was very enjoyable!Written 18 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BJ PAberdeen, UK94 contributionsWe sat at the bar and enjoyed some tasty snacks and cocktails. Luke O’Toole was very knowledgeable and made us delicious cocktails using Porter’s gin.
The bar had a lovely vibe and our seats we could watch boats going up and down the Thames.Written 23 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great for daytime glass of wine...Written 21 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. His kindness towards both the beer drinkers and our children, crafting delicious non-alcoholic mocktails for them, was exceptional. He maintained a high level of professionalism while also showcasing his unique 🇧🇷
We couldn't be happier with his performance. Kudos to the Bar Brothers management team for employing such a high-caliber professional. We highly recommend Jay and even took some business cards because we have upcoming events in Manchester. We definitely want Jay to be the bartender creating drinks on request, including my favorite, the Corona Tequila Sunrise., for an incredible evening.Written 27 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We sampled a few glasses of Prosecco and the enjoyed the cheese board as well..
Great place for a pre-theatre drink or a stop after walking the river front.

- Chante W2 contributionsDaniel was an amazing serving and met all of mine and my partners expectations. - Tim BFeltham, UK18 contributionsGreat place. A proper adult bar with awesome ambience. There was a Dj playing mostly jazz, but mixed with some jazz/electronic styles too. However the music was too loud and we could barely hear ourselves speak. I did ask for it to be lowered, but nothing changed. The cocktails are a little on the small side and about a pound more than many places. It's a sophisticated place to spend your evening. Definitely no signs of a 'Happy Hour'. We had to vacate our table after 2 hours. So, if you want to spend longer I'm not sure it's the best place. There aren't other areas to hang out, except at the bar, which has limited space.Written 15 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ledoqGlasgow, UK23 contributionsOn the way to a west end show with a bit of time to kill, we looked up from Covent Garden Market to those on the piazza and decided to drop in for a swift one. We weren’t there for a performance at the Opera House. It was a weekday night but buzzy as there was a performance on. We easily found a seat in the outdoor area. It was February but we were wrapped up warm and it is a little sheltered up there. Great views. Drinks at London prices - say no more, but what a civilised place to spend 30 minutes or so, rest our weary feet and drink in the view on a clear night.Written 16 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maria PLondon, UK10 contributionsWe’ve been coming regularly since we moved to the area approx 5 years ago (both for special occasions just us/ with family, and when we’ve had a stressful week and just want to chill out) and feel it’s about time we posted a review. Due to move soon but thankfully still within a public transport distance! We love this place. We both love wine but have learnt a ton, both technique, grapes, and about regions since starting coming here - and discovered wines we never thought we’d love. Thoroughly enjoyed our second Summer Wine Fair here and feeling very much more in love with the area we live! Fantastic wine, great people, and a beautiful venue. Keep it up guys, we’ll be back soon with more friends/ family :)Written 21 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mikeybb20 contributionsWhat a little gem of a place! My son lives just around the corner and we’ve have popped in twice for drinks and food in recent weeks. Wonderful welcoming atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable service. I think on both occasions I was served by the owner. He introduced me to some wonderful Swedish craft beers and my son had one of the delicious cocktails with his food. Will be sure to be back. Might try a cocktail and flatbread pizza myself next time. 😋 thank you for making some long journeys down to London bearable. 🙏Written 16 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nicholas BLondon, UK254 contributionsI was introduced to the place recently and was surprised to discover that it had been there three years. I did not look at what food was available but a good place to meet someone, particularly inside. Outside is a bit more obviously more exposed to passers by, but inside excellent for a good chat if you are a small group.Written 11 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ajm11111London, UK12 contributionsExcellent cider bar with a very wide range of ciders, including two of their own, and every other apple-based alcoholic drink. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff, a taster table on arrival, and a few indoor and outdoor tables. Don't miss it.Written 13 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
