Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My son turned 18 in 2024 so our annual lads trip was a different experience.
We decided to book the comedy store and it was different class. Line up on Friday 3rd Jan was brilliant, the staff were excellent and the overall experience was 5 star.
We went to book for the next night but timings for other activities dictated we couldn’t but proves the point it is superb.
    Thanks

We went to the Boat Show Comedy club a part of an evening on the Tattershall Castle to celebrate a friend's 60th. It was really well organised , our party had half the space together, the rest of the audience were in groups or couples. In our mid 70s this was a rare experience for us as we rarely go to comedy events, but it was great!

There were 4 performers and the MC Matt Stellingwerf was very funny and adept at engaging with the audience and handling the timings - there are breaks between each act to get refreshments at the reasonably priced bar. The standouts for us were the passionate and potty mouthed (by her own description) Josephine Lacey, and the celebrity act Eshaan Akbar - what a fluent and funny guy. Great entertainment and a regularly changing bill of performers, recommended.

Went there last December during my first ever solo trip, to see shoot from the hip!
I never went to an English pub/small comedy club before, but I must say I loved my experience here. The room is small but comfortable, lightning just right and not too intense, seats comfortable, and the bar is great. It has good options and the staff is just lovely! And you can see the show perfectly even in the last rows.

Oh of course I didn't think I even needed to mention it because I thought it was obvious but of course the show was amazing. Those boys don't have bad shows. I've seen 3 so far and they keep getting better and better.
There were even hecklers and they handled it beautifully.

only one small thing : if you're nd or you get overstimulated quickly in packed/hot spaces, the bar is the room everyone gets in before they open the room with the stage in. It can be quite packed, hot and a little bit overstimulating, so I recommend to bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones with you.
Or just get there a little bit later, just before the show starts so you can skip the queue in the bar lol.

Really good night out in the old Planet Hollywood Restaurant on Haymarket. Good diverse comedians and a relaxed atmosphere for post show cocktails. Would definitely go again and recommend to others.

It was a great night out! All of the comedians were great! Comedy shows are often hit-and-miss, but all of the acts were fab. Venue is also in a great location and a good size

All the comedians were brilliantly funny and each had their very own take on the world. Style of humour and so on. The venue itself is intimate and within the Arboretum next to the Garrick Theatre so can be a bit difficult to spot. Presently they can only serve soft drinks, so you are allowed to take in alcohol purchased elsewhere.

It was our first time at the Wend End Comedy Club and we had high hopes and they were certainly met! A great selection of acts that had me in bits for the whole night. The staff are friendly and informative. The bar staff are lovely. The venue is tucked away but has the feel of a large venue. This is a must visit venue and you will not regret it! We look forward to coming back soon.

My partner and I had a fantastic night at the Covent Garden Comedy Club! The lineup was brilliant, with each comedian funnier than the last, keeping us laughing non-stop. With our each of the acts being 10/10 including the MO. The cozy venue, great atmosphere, and friendly staff made the experience even better. Perfect for a date night—we’ll definitely be back!

Came here to see the Primitives. First time ever at this venue. General admission, no seats just standing so you could get up close to the stage. Sound was great band was awesome. There are two venues here one is a smaller club and the other is the main stage which is inside the building downstairs. I was in the larger venue for this show. Staff were cool. Didn’t drink so I can’t comment on the prices. Great spot to catch a show.

An enjoyable evening with fair priced Drinks. Chairs were small with small seats and consequently we felt cramped. More suited to Children. As we did not eat there I am unable to comment. Staff were very friendly but there was definitely a problem with the Mic/Sound in the first Act
