A group of my friends and I stayed in Toronto and drove down to Niagara Falls. I was told that the Canadian side was a lot nicer than the American side and I completely agree with that statement. The Canadian side of the falls has tons of shops, restaurants, and entertainment for all ages. My group and I ate local Italian food, raced go-karts, grabbed some alcohol at the Rainforest Café bar, and then finally checked out the beautiful falls. The roar of the water, the mist, the rainbows in the middle of the river, are all truly a spectacle to see and experience. Expect to get wet! The mist from the falls was very heavy the closer you got, but it was definitely refreshing! The area is definitely bustling with people, so if you’re someone that absolutely hates crowds or the constant chatter of people, it won’t be the most pleasant of experiences. Niagara was for sure worth the hour trip and I would certainly come again if I was in the area. If you are planning stay longer than 1-2 days, I vouch for staying in Toronto then commuting down to Niagara for a day trip. The drive is only 40 min to an hour and you will have the luxury of exploring the massive city that Toronto is. Niagara is fun but I could definitely see a person getting bored after a day or two or staying there.

Such a great variety of beautiful butterflies. They magically surround you. Nice gift shop, as well. Good addition to a visit to the gardens.

This is a good extra, but not a must do, unless you are dining up top. It is expensive otherwise. Great for photos from a different perspective.

The fare is $15 for rotations or you can get a package including 5 other attractions for $35 great value.

The views were amazing and the ride doesn’t go too fast so you can enjoy it.

    Definitely recommend.

There is lots to see and do around Clifton Hill. Many of the attractions are overpriced but it was good for our family to do at least one of the attractions.

I crossed from the US side to stay in the Sheraton Fallsview for 4 days. Easy to walk across and you get wonderful views of the Falls. Customs and Immigration easy to maneuver on both sides.

It was a very nice day when we were there, and the view was amazing. The ride was very short (about 10 minutes), and it does not allow disembarkation at the other end.

I was traveling without a car, and this option was very convenient for me. The schedule and times were perfect for everything I wanted to see and the drivers were all very courteous and friendly.

You can have a nice picnic lunch in the top sector of the glen. There are a few bbq pits too. For the more active or if you want to work off lunch, head down the stairs to walk any of the trails. Most of the terrain is pretty flat. The roar of the Niagara River will be your constant companion. You can scramble over large rocks to get very
close to the fast flowing waters. If lucky, the jetboat will go by while you are there. You can also do some bouldering in this area or just meander to appreciate the trees [part of a Carolinian Forest] and any flora and fauna about.

Very nice for a peaceful walk amid beautiful flowers and trees. Combined with the Butterfly Conservatory, it makes for a lovely day out.
