Beautiful public gardens. It was about to close when we got there, we uickly scan through around and we still looked around it the gardens from outside, and the beauty can be seen. There is a Public WiFi at the gardens and bus stop just in front of the garden.

This icon tourist attraction site is very easy to spot from most places in the downtown area.

While I couldn'texplore the inside of this place as I expected, due to the time, I would surely visit again.

This spot is good for your exploring and seeing all the areas in the downtown, especially towards the harbourfront.

Our favorite place in Halifax and one of the reasons we moved downtown along with the great restaurants along the Boardwalk!

I was so happy that I was able to make it to the museum during my short stay in Halifax. I only browse through, though. It cost $5.15 for an adult and I enjoyed every bit of the trip.
I will surely come here again anytime I visit Halifax and particularly bring my children on the visit.

I love the explosion section, which detailed the explosion that happened in 1917. There is also the section that explained the beginning of the Canadian Navy and the push back around it.
The staff at the reception was also very courteous with a warm smile. Overall, it was a great experience.

Emotional and amazing experience. My husband's mother arrived here July 1958 with 6 littles one in tow from Italy. He saw the spot where they disembarked and all that they went thru during the voyage. He was extremely emotional during our visit. Thank you to the volunteers who were able to locate documents for both sides of our families. We will be visiting again August 2023.

We thoroughly enjoyed hearing the history of Alexander Keith, and the ceilidh that followed , , so much fun and such talented musicians! One point that I would mention is that some of the dialogue was difficult to hear - we are getting old and our hearing is not as good as it used to be, and with the staff wearing masks we found a lot of the words were muffled.

On a warm summer evening(after the sun has set), take the ferry from Halifax to Dartmouth to view the light of the Halifax skyline. Make sure you get a transfer when you pay your fare, for the return trip back to Halifax. A fantastic view for s tiny amount.

This is absolutely the most peaceful place to be in Halifax. The landscape is left natural with well groomed walking trails.

The support for the DIY projects is wonderful! There is always something fun going on at this library. Grab a latte from the coffee shop and enjoy the view from the rooftop cafe.

We visited the cemetery to view the area dedicated to the graves of the victims of the Titanic disaster. The graves were beautifully laid out in the shape of a ship’s hull. Very emotional visit

We came to Halifax for a number of things but wanted to visit the Art Gallery to view the Maude Lewis exhibit in particular. The Lewis exhibit alone is worth the trip.

The gallery is located in a central part of downtown Halifax. Makes it the perfect spot to spend a few hours and then head out after for dinner.

When we visited in November, admission to the gallery was free after 5 pm on Thursdays, which was such a great bonus. I don't know for sure if that offer is still available.

If you're visiting Halifax and art is your thing or even if it isn't, a visit to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia should be on your list of places to see.

Definitely a fun walkthrough history! Did it in about an hour, and well laid out. Recommend if you're down at the waterfront.

I admit I’m spoiled by previous years which have been incredible . It may not be fair to judge this years show to the other shows.

This place is really great for younger kiddos! The place is decent sized and full of neat little things for them to try.

I am now a mom to two teens, so it wasn’t exactly their cup of tea (my son is very science focused, so there are science centres we have come across that fit his interest and age bracket a bit better).

If you have little kids, this is a great spot to visit. If your kids are a bit older, or you as an adult are looking to go, I would say the target audience for this particular science centre is geared towards the younger crowd, but of course you could still get a bit out of it, after all it’s science!

Elf the musical was fantastic. We saw it performed with the understudy for the lead. Chris Vergara played Buddy the elf- he was superb! Everyone in the cast was incredible! What a wonderful delightful fun musical. My husband and I loved it. For reference, we are quite picky as we subscribe yearly to the Mirvish productions in Toronto. We see some big shows and this one is right up there with the best ones we’ve seen. Congrats to the cast and the theatre. Thank you for making our visit to Halifax extra special.
