Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- spud0018Mississauga, Canada690 contributionsSmall market with a nice variety of fresh produce, craft and food stalls. Street parking nearby. Good for a stroll around especially if you're looking for something to eat. Wednesdays and Saturdays. Easy to get to - near the mall.Written 29 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- travellaloneCanada252 contributionsCherry picking was not in our to-do list during our stay in Kelowna. However, we added this because a few changes in our plan provided us an extra few hours. A bit of research helped us shortlist a few orchards and it was one of them. The season having been late this year, not all the orchards were open at that time. This orchard opened to customers just a couple of days earlier.
I was particularly interested in the yellow variety and asked the front desk personnel of our hotel the previous day to check if this orchard was ready with yellow cherries. And the response was yes, they were ready with “Stardust”. So we went to this orchard the next afternoon a little before 3 pm and found the gate closing. There were several groups of customers at that time, some were leaving and some were still inside. Thankfully, a little bit of persuasion let us in.
At first we went for the “Early Yellow” variety as per their website. However, we got confused as the personnel working there termed the yellow variety as “Rainier”. As per their website it was not yet time for the Rainier to be ready for picking. And there was no mention of "Stardust". It was very hot, but we managed to pick about 8 lbs of cherries belonging to two varieties in about half an hour. The people in the orchard were friendly and helping. It was a nice experience and would have been nicer if we knew what specific variety of cherry we were picking.Written 29 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Small galleries have a certain charm. They do not come across as imposing, as big museums do. They also present other than the masters, so are a little easier to appreciate.
This gallery met these criteria and we enjoyed our visit. The focus was on Canadian artists and some of the works were lovely and some were quirky. Not all met with our admiration, but we enjoyed being exposed to the variety. There was a separate gallery dedicated to the grizzly bear, and a third exhibit showing interviews about racism. We preferred the Canadian artists' exhibit.
We were greeted pleasantly and will be back. We concluded our Sunday afternoon with a pleasant walk along the waterfront and a coffee at an outdoor patio. Great afternoon.Written 25 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Geert Maas does really interesting bronze work as well as acrylic, lacquer and oil painting. It was a wonderful experience viewing his work and being able to ask the artist questions. Take the time to go see this. It is very interesting.Written 27 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Susan CKelowna, Canada149 contributionsHambleton Galleries is always a fun spot to drop into and see what is new. The staff are always gracious, and the openings are welcoming and tasteful. The Gallery manages a diverse and quality collection ... lots of good quality local scenes and local artists.Written 19 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ReggieRegina, Canada859 contributionsWe stopped for an ice cream/gelato treat. So many wonderful flavour choices. It was hard to pick just one. Tastes fresh made. It was cool and a bit rainy so we didn't stay long, but they have a nice patio with chairs if the weather is pleasant.Written 12 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kanadian2016Edmonton, Canada40 contributionsI have shopped there many times in my life and just recently on a trip to Kelowna.
The BC liquor store there is great! Big with helpful employees. Fantastic selection of everything! I was very undecided on what to drink and an employee introduced me to Vanilla vodka (Sky), Acai (or pomegranate) juice, topped with Sprite (I used soda water with lemon and lime and stevia). Delicious!!! New favorite. Thanks lady!!
The dollar store is great! Good selection and helpful staff.
The grocery store is well stocked and helpful staff. Same with the drug store. Starbucks is nice to have there as well.

- GLesterNiwot, CO7 contributionsOff the beaten path, we enjoyed the drive to this scenic location. We enjoyed the cheese tasting for $3.00, and ended up buying three cheeses…they were all yum! We also enjoyed the gelato. I had strawberry cheesecake and limoncello. The hubs had chocolate macaroon and salted caramel. It was creamy, and flavorful and ended up being our lunch on this hot day. Also, the gentleman who served us was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. It’s a small little place, nothing fancy, but we enjoyed it and would definitely come back.Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CodyWinnipeg, Canada1 contributionI had a wonderfuk time at Meadow Vista, it was the last stop on our winery tour and it felt the most educational and enjoyable. I arrived in the slow season and there still was a steady flow of customers. The only thing I can say is their products are top-notch! After the tasting I bought several bottles of mulled mead as christmas gifts and they arrived within the week, they even called me to confirm some things with my order! Incredible customer service and affordable products in their online shop made me ecstatic to order from them again. Also, I think it’s the perfect way to support the bees, since I had no idea their honey could be turned into such a wide range of excellent things!Written 24 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kirk WSaskatoon, Canada123 contributionsWe went there as recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint…and we went back a 2nd time the next day as well. The croissants are amazing whether a butter one or ham and cheese or spinach and feta! The desserts were decadent and artistic and the staff were friendly and then it was just plain super delicious. Pricey but worth it.Written 14 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sahar Ashour8 contributionsI could have stayed in the store all day! There's so much to see and explore! So many unique items and gifts! Its a real treasure and I absolutely loved it! My elderly mother and 7 year old son both had a blast walking through the store.
The ice cream was such a delicious treat as well!
On top of ALL of this, the employee there, Nick, was so polite, helpful, and informative! I sincerely hope he is recognized for his amazing service.
This will definitely be somewhere we visit EVERY time we are in town!Written 13 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
