Taking a trip up the gondola as a family is always fun. The food at the Summit Lodge is perfect with something for everyone. The staff are so friendly and helpful which makes this a place we love returning to.

This was our first time on the BC ferry and it was very enjoyable. The inside seats are comfortable and if you want to be out in the cold fresh air enjoying the views you can. We also grabbed a coffee while we waiting to drive onto the ferry and it was surprisingly very good.

We had a pretty good experience with BCF in Sidney. They were flexible in getting us onto the 5 pm sailing even though we were booked on the 7 pm. we got home at 8.30 pm instead of 10 pm. The ferry ride from Sidney was way more crowded then from Horseshoe Bay. it was a little uncomfortable that BCF staff did not enforce the mask mandates, as they do not require vaccination certification and we were inside for over a hour+++ on the ferry.

If your destination is within walking distance, just do this. It is the perfect way to travel from the North Shore to Vancouver or visa versa.

Sailed from Bella Coola to Port Hardy August 14, 2021. Part way across ferry experienced engine trouble, one engine was shut down. At Port Hardy ferry anchored in port awaiting a tug boat, it took over four hours for tug to arrive and dock. Throughout the captain and crew provided excellent communication and were very accommodating opening the cafeteria for a third meal. Watching the skill of the tug crew manoeuvre the ferry to dock was interesting. Overall a good experience despite the delay.

Make sure you make a reservation or you may wait awhile! With COVID, people are told to stay in their cars and the wear a mask while out of their car...especially on the ferry while using washrooms or the restaurant! Not many people follow the rules...safer to stay in your car!

British Columbia is a breathtaking experience. The ferry system offers a nice way to expand your travels while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. There are snacks on the smaller ships, food on board larger ships, and educational lectures on others. You can also choose to take a nap, take a walk, or take some photos like we did. It's a spectacular experience.

The ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria is CLOSED due to Covid 19. This is normally a great way to get to or from Vancouver Island and Washington without going through Seattle.

Took the 9:50am ferry but lined up an hour earlier to make sure I was able to board. Only one cafe and a general store/gas station open at that time. I strolled in the quiet beach to pass the time. The ferry was almost full. During the sail, I stayed in the viewing deck to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is an indoor lounge with vintage chairs. A cafe with snacks available. Ferry is free. First come first bases. No reservation. Sail takes half an hour.

First time I took the ferry. Very easy to find and use. Only had to wait a few minutes. The platform can only hold a couple of vehicles at a time.

This one of two gondolas to take to the top of the peaks. The other is the Peak 2 Peak. Loading and drop off areas are different locations in the village. Great views can be seen from either rides.

Great way to get from Granville back to Vancouver. The Aquabus’s location was easy to find in both areas.
