We took a 4-hour sunset cruise with music, drinks, and delicious snacks. We went out to the Sea of Cortez, dropped anchor, and a few jumped into the ocean. The entire adventure was fun!

Nice beach, but our hotel was about 10 minutes walk, no bad.
Water was warm but little green due to many boats, and small size 🛥 in the area.

Loved this beach and such fun to ride over in the small taxi boat:) We liked the lovers beach side that is calm and the rougher divorce beach on the other side.

We did the morning hike with Enrique. We parked at the parking lot outside the naval base and walked to the dog kennel area. We saw lots of people walking that way and knew we were in the right place. It is hard to find so we looked for this the afternoon before. You can type in Mt Solmar on Google maps and it will have a green pin that says The Hike and that is where you meet Enrique. He started letting people in around 8:15 and started sharing some of the history of the area while the last few people joined. There had to be close to 100 people on the hike with us, which started at 8:30am and we were joined by a large number of well behaved dogs. The hike starts easy and then heads very steep with the need to climb over boulders, and the top being very craggy. We had one stop right before the steep part of the climb where Enrique shared more information about the energy of the location. This is not a formal hike, Enrique will not wait for all of the people to get to his location at the one rest stop to share information as there are just too many people, so I recommend being near the front half of the hike if you want to hear this. Enrique moves very quickly! For the most part, people did a good job on the hike moving out of the way if they were slowing the group down. There were many people out of breath even though at the steepest sections it was slow going single file. I had to hold my kids back many times because the line was so slow as people were trying to get traction on the rocks. It’s confusing at the top as there is no flat surface to stand on and people get held up near the Mexican flag pole. Just go around them as safely and carefully as possible as there are incredible views on all sides that you will want to see and take pictures of. Enrique wouldn’t allow small children on the hike and as we got to the top I totally understood why. It is definitely not safe for small children. My kids are 11 and 13 and they were fine. I’m not sure what the minimum age is, but I saw him turn away a 5 year old so the family had to split up and the mom stayed back with the child. Helps to plan ahead! Also, when Enrique is ready to head down, unless you are right near him, you will not know. He hikes FAST downhill and the terrain is so craggy at the top with huge boulders that you won’t see him leave. Be careful with your footing on the way down as we saw some people fall down on the loose terrain.

We are so grateful Enrique shares this land and experience with people. It was truly beautiful. We wanted to do it several times but couldn’t fit it into our schedule. Don’t forget to leave a tip!

Had a wonderful time at the animal sanctuary/petting zoo. Diego was absolutely great and accommodating, and him and another guide were a joy to chat with in between animal enclosures. Had a great time, just remember your water and some cash to tip the guys for their great service!!

There are many fun things to do within the Bay of Cabo San Lucas.

    Vibe: Super relaxing

    Food: Many options

Service: Varies from bars to dance clubs to stand up paddle boards and more

Access: Easy from boat or valet park near waterfront at Sur Beach House or The Office

Would I go again: Yes of course

We love the bay. So much to do. Always spend a few days a week here.

There's a lot to see here! Huge pelicans, amazing geological formations, hordes of fish, sparkling blue waters - you have it all! I recommend stopping by here for longer periods of time if you're into snorkeling.

We wanted a trip with lots of sharks and guaranteed Mantas. We chose to go with Equator diving based near Manchester on the live aboard Valentina. The journey there was long to say the least from Manchester to Heathrow onto Dallas Fort Worth then to San Jose del Cabo. Boarded Valentina then a 36 hour sail out to San Benedicto one of three islands we dived out of the four in the Revillagigedos Archipelago. The diving did not disappoint with clear warm seas and an abundance of life including Whitetip reef sharks, Hammerheads, Silkies and the Mantas we wanted to see. We stayed for 2 days diving then sailed overnight to Socorro, again the diving was excellent Mantas, Galapagos sharks whitetips. Whilst there you have to pay a visit to the naval base for your passports to be checked. We then sailed to Roca Partida the smallest of the island and at first glance you wonder why your staying here for 2 days diving but once in the water you can see why. The life underwater is unbelievable, Whitetip reef sharks gather in the hollows and crevices in there dozens, Galapagos and Silkies swim around you, Silvertips seem to gather together and Mantas seem to just circle you as you complete your safety stop. Massive shoals of fish gather just off the rock, Morays and some of the biggest lobsters you’ll see hide amongst the cracks. The whole experience was excellent, the crew of the Valentina all went out of there way to help with kit and anything you needed and the food was first class.

I cannot say enough about the amazing one on one surfing day we had with Luis! He picked us up at our hotel on time, he was friendly, positive and very attentive to both me and my wife. We each had surfed before but needed more coaching/practice and he was able to tailor the lesson to each of us. I felt very comfortable in the break and after some time assisting us in the smaller part of the break he took me out further into some bigger waves. It was very rewarding to have so much progression of my beginner skills in one session. When I was feeling strong he coached me into catching waves for myself, when I was spent he helped me paddle out and gave me a push when necessary. The other local surfers at Costa Azul were friendly and very helpful, it was like having a team of surfing coaches. We were so pleased we booked another half day 48 hours later. High tide provided round trip transport, beach chairs, umbrellas, water access to private bathrooms and all the good vibes. I would actually travel back to Cabo just to surf with Luis again. I've spent time with at least 5 or 6 other surf instructors in my life and this guy tops them all!.

Me and my wife Sailed Friday july 22nd for the private sunset cruise . I cannot begin to tell you how unforgettably perfect our experience was and much it impacted our trip. The ONLY reason we call this trip the best was because of your two crewman. PACO and JESUS. These two men could not of been more catering and more professional then they were. I cannot say enough good things about them. I have already told 4 on my clients and friends that are going to book only with these guys. These two are what you look for when you have a business. We have already booked a trip to come back in whale season just because of these two. And we decided we will ONLY go with PACO and JESUS. The knowledge alone these two have made us feel like we were locals.

    - PACO and JESÚS ,
Gentlemen I just want to thank you for making our anniversary the best one yet. I wish you guys nothing but the best. And hope you guys stay safe and are truly blessed.

I have always wanted to see the whales and I was not disappointed! This was amazing sites! Our guide (which I'm sorry I don't remember her name but she was from The Netherlands) was so informative about the whales and their habits, etc. I would definitely recommend booking a whale watch trip through Whale Watch Cabo...worth every penny!

The day started with a 6 am pickup at our hotel (RIU Palace) that took us to the Marina in Los Cabos. This is when we met our firecracker of a guide Michelle. Who was Ammmazing! Loads of energy that carried on for the entire 12 hour day!
The bus ride took us to Las Paz where we met the boat. Here we met Carla. Carla was wonderful and informative as she gave us the rundown of the Whale Sharks. Once we found a Whale Shark we jumped in ahead of the Shark and tried to keep up because they swim fast! We were at arms length of them. We did this for a couple more times to make sure everyone got a chance. After the boat we stopped for an amazing lunch (fish tacos) yum!
For the bus ride back to Cabo, we stopped at a little town (Totos Santos) to see Hotel California and got some souvenirs and drinks. We then made a little stop (which I'm sworn to secrecy of the location) but trust me it's worth it. We ended up back at the hotel around 8pm.

I highly recommend this amazing experience and would do it again in a heartbeat!
