Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Discovering an oasis in the middle of the desert. We travel to Baja several times a year and had no idea that this peaceful Oasis existed. It is actually right on the way to where we usually stay on the sea of Cortez. It was almost a magical day and Max our tour guide made it extremely special with all of his suggestions and information. He took us to a delicious Family Restaurant off the beaten path, for lunch and it was just an incredible day. Thanks Max will be seeing you again

Had an awesome day - our guide Carlos was fantastic. He figured out what we wanted and took us that extra mile (literally). He catered to all our interests, showed us wildlife and had us sample things like pitaya. It was cool to see more interior geography after days on the coast and Carlos knew so much about the terrain, that he shared with us. We ended up being a small group, so he even took us off-roading and made this a trip to remember. He carried all our water and knew when to stop and when to push forward. We stopped to swim in two pools of water with waterfalls before heading back for a taco lunch. He even suggested other activities that we later tried and loved. A trip to remember!!

What an amazing trip for us girls!! The original trail was closed so he took us to hike by the river and swam there. It was a pleasantly surprised excursion. He was so attentive and funny. We will definitely hire him again if and when we visit Cabo. He took us around town and visited this amazing ice cream place and 2 lunches. The Mango farm was awesome, and the homemade lunch was soooooo good.

I always like to venture out and this hike was perfect. My guide Luis was very knowledgeable and did great job of guiding me down the rugged terrain.
Waterfall and swim is the reward.

We’ve been to Cabo twice and this was our favorite experience! It’s about a 50 minute drive from the hotel zone. Ruben was very knowledgeable about local flora and fauna and made sure we were comfortable hiking a moderate to moderately strenuous trail. He took us to multiple lookout points and always took pictures for us. At sunset, he provided wine and a charcuterie board. The view at the top - watching the sun disappear behind the ocean - was incredible.

This hike/tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Cabo this last week. We like to get out and explore history and nature in the places we visit and this hike was perfect! Danny is funny, friendly and kind, and explained so much interesting historical information about Todos Santos and other places in the region around the hiking spot. We got to see amazing views, interesting flora, some lizards, and all around had a good time. The avocado taco is also really delicious, I've been craving one since. If you like getting off the beaten path don't miss this one.

First and foremost, everyone in my party all agree that this tour is a such an amazing experience to introduce outsiders to the beautiful nature that is “Sierra de la Laguna”. Danny was very professional throughout the entire trip and explained to us the “dos and don’ts,” of hiking. For instance, he recommended us to bring water so we don’t become dehydrated, as the hike was going to be strenuous. This is our first time doing a hike like this as a family and we are forever grateful to Danny for being patient with us. Climbing through the rocks and breathing the fresh mountain air throughout our lungs was an experience that was outstanding. We were able to climb further than the waterfall to reach a small pond that was not only refreshing, but with breathtaking views. on the way back was a bit petrifying due to the darkness however, Danny being the professional that he is, encouraged us that we can go over our limits and to overcome our fears. We all wore head lights and breezed through the hike back with a breeze. The stars shining bright almost as if they were gazing at us for a job well done, what a sight! No pictures can do the hike justice you really have to see to believe. I cannot recommend this trip more to everyone that reads this it’s really a 1000+ star experience. Thank you to Danny and dharma expeditions for truly one of a kind experience.~

This was an amazing tour. You get an authentic look at ranchero culture outside of the typical tourist activities and hear the history of the area. Danny makes the entire trip one to remember and the susnet walk on the beach afterward is one the best sunsets I have ever seen. 100% recommend it to anyone thinking about it.

Highly recommended. Pleasant drive, stopped for yummy eats both on the way and on the way back. On the trail the guides were EXCELLENT dealing with physical limitations in our group. They selected a shorter path and gave lots of colorful information about the area while we worked through the trail. Could not have asked for more. The falls are amazing, the trail is fun and the water is cool and refreshing. Top Notch!

My husband and I had a great time today! Our guides, Diego, Saul, and Gustavo were wonderful . (I think I missed a guide and, if so, I apologize .) We received a demonstration before we went up to the first line which was helpful. The guides, each of whom had a good sense of humor, put safety first at all times and made certain we had regular water breaks as well . I am over 60 and my hubby over 70 and though it was somewhat of hike between lines, if you are physically active , it is not hard. The rappelling was a blast! I had told my husband I was not going to do it and then I did and enjoyed it so much I wanted to do it again !
A Shout out to the photographer whose photos were excellent! And thank you to the ladies who made our lunch!
The tequila tasting was fun. Our understanding was that some changes were made to the process due to customer safety given the pandemic .
Would we visit this place again?Absolutely! Would we recommend it? Without hesitation!
Unlike a prior reviewer, I was not offended that the guides asked for tips nor did I think they took too long in making the request. This is Mexico not the USA and the pay standards are different and for many employees, the tips make the difference . Additionally, the past year must have been exceptionally hard with the pandemic ,lockdowns , and low tourism.
