Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Superb to visit this pyramid in the deserted grave yard. Interesting story behind what is the only tomb of its type in Europe. Well worth the 5 minutes it takes

I’m originally from Ireland, but now live in California where I ride Mount Tamaulipas, China Camp, Annabel State Park. I was home for a few weeks this summer and had scoped out Kinnity bike trails online before traveling. I rented a bike locally and hit the trails, following the red arrows, the more advanced trails. It’s been over 30 years since I rode in Ireland and I’m blown away by how good this trail system is. I rode approximately 20 miles/30 km, taking in most of the red trails. It took 2hrs 40min for an enthusiastic 50 year old! The climbs are fairly mellow, usually on fire roads, and the terrain is constantly climbing/descending. The descents are usually single track, flowy and hard pack for the most part with berms, table tops, whoop de whoops, and rocks embedded into the trail. The trail builders have done a great job of using the terrain to gradually get you up the hills between downhill sections. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend checking out this trail system. I’m an intermediate rider with over 30 years experience. This is not a trail for beginners!

We celebrated the birthday of my husband here. The staff was amazing, the food was so tasty and we and our friends had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend Giltraps pub for any occasion or just a few drinks and food

I just passed Kinnitty by car then I found out sign of bicycle hire.
Onwer Lorraine was so kind and gave me delicious sandwiches.
She told me about story of Slieve Bloom mountain and guided around small town.
I never forget tasty lunch, even I would like to make myself.
Anyway I hired bicycle and looked around beautiful Kinnitty low hill.
Also I've been Kinnitty Castle that I seem to go back to Middle Age.
Not too hard for riding bicycle after eat her sandwiched.
    I really recommend here :)

This is a great area for mtb, I rented a bike for 2 days. I met Jonathan the owner of the bike rentals. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and has great bikes to rent. Great views up on the mountains, awesome down hills, single tracks. Looking forward to going back next year. Stay @ the Ardmore house, very nice B&B. Pikemans brewery is practically across the street. Cafe is just beyond the brewery. Kinnitty castle is next to the trail head. You can enjoy a pint and lunch inside the castle.

I was home in Ireland on holidays and wanted to check out the Kinnity trail system. I live in California and ride every week there. I rented a full suspension Orbea Occam from these guys, as I ride a full suspension bike at home. I booked the bike online, specifying I’d use my own pedals. I showed up early at the B and B where you collect your bike, to find that the bikes come by van from another location. No biggie, I was early after all, and Donna arrived in a few minutes with a van full of bikes. She loaned me a pedal spanned to put my own pedals on and after a brief introduction to bike, I was off! The bike was great, very neutral and kept me out of trouble on a 20 mile/30km ride. I had no problem climbing, locking out the rear shock on fire roads, and the dropper seat post is great for descending. I would recommend you bring a decent multi tool, pump, spare tube and tire levers just in case, as these are not provided. Also bring your own hydration pack as the bikes don’t have bottle cages. Overall, I had a great experience at the Kinnity trail system and Slieve Bloom MTB Centre were great to rent from.
