Review of: 4 Wheel ATV Tour at Amber cove and Taino Bay in Puerto Plata
These guys do it right
A Short, 5 min walk from the boat gets you to the DSRR guys and awaiting van/bus/thing. Great signage, easily identified and met by our awesome guide Caliente. A 3 min ride to the garage/trailhead where we were met by Darlin/Paparazzi, a friendly motorcycle daredevil and prolific photographer extraordinaire. Helmets are fitted, and a quick, accompanied ride to acquaint us with the very easy to operate ATVs.
The ATVs are 2WD, up to date and very capable of comfortably seating 2 people.
The ride was not technical, so if you’ve ridden ATVs before, you should prepare for the focus being on some beautiful views, and not focus on pushing your thrill-seeking limits.
We went just over 20 miles with a few very cool stops for nice locally rolled cigars, fine chocolate and coffee drinks. After a short beach stop, we return to the starting point where we load up and return to Amber Cove .
Super time had by all. Great value. Highly recommended

Review of: ATV Adventure
Great small group adventure
My wife and I booked the ATV tour with Country World Adventures when arriving to Amber Cove via a Carnival Cruise. Pick up outside of the cruise port was timely and directions provided and were accurate.
It so happened the we were the only guests taking the ATV back country tour that morning and so were treated to super tour learning about the vegetation, culture, and people of the DR. We enjoyed stopping for a local beverage and conversation in a village with an overall tour length of about 3 hours. The tour was one of the highlights of our entire trip.

Review of: V.I.P. DayPass: ATV, Zip Lines, Horseback Riding & Pool Zip N' Splash
Best Excursion Ever
It was even better than I expected. Everyone was so pleasant, attentive, and best of all fun. They make sure you’re taken care of by providing unlimited water, feeding you lunch (which is so delicious), and ensuring you are and feel safe when doing the activities. They were moments where my group mentioned they were a bit afraid and they would stop to check on us and encourage us. Most definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed!

A great time!!
The guides, the waterfalls, the zipline, and the farm at where we ate lunch! Guides were very friendly, helpful, entertaining and funny! The trees at where we ate lunch were awesome-to see native plants like cacao, mango, almonds, etc!!

Review of: Puerto Plata Super Buggy Tour
Amazing, fun, adventurous
What an amazing time the Buggy Tour! William, who set up the excursion, was so nice and accommodating. He made things easy for us and made sure transportation was provided. And as for our tour guide Chris, thank you! Such a friendly, knowledgeable and caring person. He made the tour fun even with the minor rain we got. Wear clothes you dont mind throwing away because we definitely ripped it in the giant mud puddles but so worth it! This was definitely the highlight our trip! We absolutely recommend anyone to go here for an excursion for couples and families.

Review of: XDream Adventure: Damajagua Waterfalls, ATV, Zip Lines, Horseback Riding & Pool
AMAZING!!!
AMAZING!!!! Best excursion I've ever done! From start to finish the day was perfect! The drivers were right on time. The falls were so cool. we paid a little extra for the pictures and they were 100% worth it. The photos were so good! the farm with all the other activities was so nice and the lunch was so good and very authentic. I want to go back with my mom! I would recommend it to anyone. Although there was no pool it was such a long day you didn't need it. Our group ran over time a little bit but the employees didn't care they just wanted us to have fun.

We had a great time!! Just keep in mind you will get muddy. Wear old bathing suits! Bring water proof bag for phones!

Review of: 4-Wheel Adventure
Fun but not what we expected.
Here’s the deal: this was fun. And the staff is magnificent. However, when we got our tickets, it clearly said we’d be stoping at multiple, beautiful beaches...we did not. We stopped at one pool and one beach, which was disappointing, especially for the price. However, riding the ATVs was super fun (but there isn’t a whole lot of prep and training prior) and, again, the staff is amazing. I was sick from food that I ate and was ready to cancel our reservation and lose our money. Instead they went out of their way to fetch me medicine to make me feel better. And they have us our own tour guide so that I could go at my own pace and makes stops as needed.

I’d absolutely recommend using them, I’d just CONFIRM the stops before purchasing to make sure you’re not disappointed as well.

Review of: Full-Day Buggy Driving and Waterfall Swimming Experience
Definitely Worth It
Very friendly and trustworthy. We left all our belongings on the bus and nothing was missing (group of 11 people). Food at lunch was more than enough and very tasty. I would definitely use them again.

Review of: 2 Person Buggy Tour
Ripped off
Our tour started when we arrived at the super buggy lot. It had rained the night before and decided/were told that goggles would be better for the tour instead of the sunglasses we had brought. They charged us $1000 pesos to rent 4 goggles for 2 hours (was supposed to be 3 hours btw) which is nearly 20 dollars! The goggles could be purchased on Amazon 18 dollars for a set of 5. So really this scam just ruined the excursion for me. There is nothing worse then being taken advantage of If you ask me. There is another similar tour vendor I saw near the 27 waterfalls park so I am going to try that one next time. It looks much nicer .

Waterfalls and Dune buggies excursions
Excellent excursions. Tour guides was great, informative, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The only con is that safety goggles and mask should be mandatory to ensure a comfortable ride on the dune buggies. They create excessive dust when driving where it’s almost impossible to see at times. But overall great experience.

AMAZING
If your looking for the BEST of the BEST!!! Rigo Taxi is the man you need to book with! From the excursion, knowledge, experience, friendliness, and just simply the most amazing guy to get to know. Rigo is so accommodating anything and everything you want to see or do he takes such good care of his clients. I will definitely book with him again on our next stop to the D.R. 😁

Review of: Puerto Plata Shore Excursion: ATV adventure for Amber Cove & Taino Bay Passenger
Had a blast driving ATVs
Great staff. The ride from Amber Cove was 35 minutes to the facility. Also prepare to walk all the way to the highway at the port because they cannot come to the typical pickup place. Several vehicles broke down on the excursion but the staff reacted quickly and got everyone back on the road. My family had a great time and the ATVs were easy to drive.
