Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Kerry DLondon, UK15 contributionsAbsolutely lovely, a fantastic zoo, even preferred it to the ones in England. Added bonus having the tree top trail.
Definitely recommend when visiting Guadeloupe.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Th beach itself it's not that big. Definitely the highlight was the boat trip with the bottom glass and a quick swim after.Written 5 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jan TaborskyOlomouc, Czech Republic241 contributionsNice beach with clear see and some good snorkeling spots. There is some shadow under coco trees, but there is some waste too.
There is small food truck (baguete, juice, watter), but is was open just once during my 3 visitis. There are no opening hours.Written 7 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They showed us how vanilla is grown and marketed then we took the path down the hill through vanilla, coffee and cacao plantations. The path was very steep and we found the waterfall at the bottom a bit disappointing but the lovely staff come down and pick you up in a Jeep so you don’t have to climb back up if you don’t want. Enjoyed a beer and a sandwich on the terrace with an outstanding viewWritten 24 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan PontarlierParis, France125 contributionsEven though it’s a magical spot, something that bother me huge time was all the plastics, glass and trash in the beach. The spot is perfect, natural, many animals, crabs, fishes... but as you can state in the pictures, I picked up some trash in 3 minutes nearby me. Guadeloupe Tourism Destination Organisation, please fix this!!Written 20 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gregori LDublin, Ireland213 contributionsWhen you arrive at the parking, follow the rocky trail for a couple of minutes to take you the hot bath ( bain chaud) .
Very relaxing although easily becoming crowded during the day . A nice swim in the sea after is refreshing, although you need to be mindful of the rocks and waves crashing if you are with small kids .Written 8 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Truly surprising how hot the water actually is, and quite fun to experience the transitions from that to relatively cold as ocean currents mix with the hot stream. The setting is not particularly pretty however. It’s the kind of thing that can become your regular stopover on the way back to your lodging or something, but you’d probably not post many photos of the place to Instagram and you’re ‘done’ in about 20 mins.Written 6 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robby G CToronto, Canada81,657 contributionsThere is a huge black column. We can't miss it!
This is also a memorial of the fighter for liberty. It says: "Live or die."
Resistance against oppression.
This monument is in favor of liberty. I agree with them.

We wanted to stay in the area where our b&b was. He recommended activities and drew on a map. Most literature everywhere is in French but with drawing we made our way to find places.Written 9 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
