    Friendly, fun and full experience!
    Hiro and Yuna were friendly, fun and overall fantastic guides. We enjoyed great conversations as we hopped between 3 bars, tasting wonderful food and experimenting with different Japanese drinks. We explored 3 very different types of bars and regions of Shinjuku, which made me feel like I had a deep experience of Shinjuku. This tour immersed me within the Japanese way of enjoying food and drinks with friends, which I am happy to have made through this experience. Thanks!

    Review of: Small-Group Tokyo Biking Tour
    How a Bicycle Tour Should Be
    I had only a couple of days to explore Tokyo, so I booked with a tour Bicycle Tours Tokyo, and it didn’t not disappoint. In 6 hours Gaku, my tour guide, showed me everything around central Tokyo, he was super friendly and went above and beyond all expectations, he made sure no question goes unanswered, and It was so nice to get familiar with the Japanese culture in such a short period. I was shown a lot of the iconic spots, buildings, Shrines and Temples around Tokyo, had lunch in a very nice spot overlooking the ocean, not to mention the tons of photos he took of me and emailed to me as soon as the tour was over. I would totally recommend taking this tour as soon as you visit Tokyo, it would save you a lot of time to get familiar with the streets, neighborhoods and culture before you start exploring on your own, and it would make your trip much more fun.

    I can so much recommend this!
    It was really a great ½ day. We saw the most beautiful spots. The guide was a super storyteller. Wedding, prayers, historic spots. All in one ½ day.

    Review of: Ebisu Local Food Tour: Shibuya's Most Popular Neighborhood
    Awesome food tour in Ebisu Shibuya area
    I booked 2 tours from Viator and they ended up being from this same company, (Japan Awaits), which was great. I had no idea at the time of booking but both of the tours turned out to be amazing so I'm glad this company is so consistent with their tours.

    I don't normally write reviews but since these tours were such great experiences, I feel like I need to write a review for this company. First, I will write a review for the Ebisu Food Tour (the other tour we went on was the Aged Whiskey Tasting Tour). The tour ended up being much more than just a food tour. I have been to other food tours and this one is very different since you get to see a lot of the sites and attractions in the area and not just eat food the entire time.

    I also really enjoyed how personal this tour was. It ended up only being the 3 of us in the group and they still went through with the tour. We met the tour guide at Ebisu Station and we went to the Ebisu Garden Place and got to see a great view overlooking Tokyo there. And if you like beer, you'll have the option to visit the Yebisu Beer Museum, which was perfect for our group since we love beer. It was the highlight of the tour for us. After visiting the museum, we went to this alley with lots of food stalls and were able to try some tasty Japanese food there such as okonomiyaki pancake and skewers. We were stuffed and after trying the different types of food, we decided we wanted something sweet and the tour guide took us to a very tasty local ice cream shop.

    The whole tour was amazing. We loved the food and being able to talk to our very sweet tour guide who took us around to see the local side of Tokyo. It was very interesting to learn about Ebisu and why the Japanese people love this area and why so many people want to live here. Having a better understanding of local culture is not something you can experience on your own so I highly recommend this Ebisu food tour.

    Review of: Tokyo By Night
    Great experience
    What a great way to explore and get a new view of Tokyo. Axel was my teacher for the evening. I learned at lot during those hours, I was alone that evening.
    We was at a couple of different spots, it was great to have variation. By doing that you learn more.

    I can recommend this course to anyone that have an interest in photography. I am think about to take another course with them.

    Great night out
    Uri was a terrific guide and good company. Piss Alley and Golden Gai was a good opportunity to see behind the veil of the formal Japan and visit some amazing (tiny) bars. Highly recommended.

    Great tour on the history and culture of hidden gems in Tokyo
    Sid's very friendly and his sharing on hidden gems of Tokyo was very refreshing.

    I enjoyed myself listen to the history of various parts of Tokyo and would definitely recommend anyone who would like to explore other parts of Tokyo besides the typical shinjuku, akihabara touristy place.

    Well worth your time ...
    Excellent full day trip to Mt Fuji and surrounding area. Experienced Mt Fuji station 4 (station 5 was closed). Great pictures on way to short lake cruise.

    Unable to experience tram due to high winds; however, got to see aquarium. Also experience one of Japan’s bullet train (131 mph).

    Guid spoke good English and provided excellent historical narrative during bus and ground travels.

    Well worth the time if you want to see Mt Fuji from Tokyo.

    Review of: Tokyo City Tour: Private Chauffeur Guide with Chartered Car
    Tokyo guided tour
    Our family of 3 took a guided tour of Tokyo with Mr. Takashi Koizumi. He is an excellent guide, very professional, timely, thorough and knowledgeable, with fantastic command of English. Had a great time, seen and learned a lot. Even though this was a holiday in Japan and all museums were closed, our guide made sure that our time was well spent and worthwhile. The driver, Mr. Toshi was also very professional and his driving was very safe. Overall, very highly recommended.

    Excellent way to see the city
    Highly recommend this way of getting to know the city. Fulvio was a terrific guide and was totally flexible in planning a day's outing that suited our needs. Of course you can't see everything in a day but this is a perfect way to focus in on your interests, while gaining some great local insights on the culture and way of life along the way. We did the tour on our first day in Tokyo, leaving us time during the rest of our stay to re-visit some areas in greater detail and other areas suggested by Fulvio (during our day tour and a follow-up email he promptly sent afterwards). While Fulvio was always mindful about pacing to meet our needs, it's fair to say you need a good pair of walking shoes! Also, if you're not confident with the subway, this is also a great way to get to know it as you spend the day hopping on and off lines to get to your destinations.
