This museum is a hidden jewel tucked away on a street leading from Ebisu to Roppongi Dori. It features Nihonga or modern Japanese art, in which Japanese artists used natural paints extracted from stones and returned to their natural roots: mostly paintings of nature. A must visit.

Two good squash courts in central Tokyo, Friendly staff and relatively easy for foreigners. Only take credit cards and have a reasonably convenient on-line booking system.

I had a wonderful prenatal massage. She was able to accommodate me on a very last minute booking.
I’ve lived in Japan for over a year and was about to give up on finding a Swedish massage therapist. Communication was not an issue since she speaks perfect English also.
I’d love to come back again!

Not really having the time on this leg of our trip for a full tea ceremony (Chanoyu), we were looking for some way to still get the experience. Mikiko-san's 60 minute session fit the bill perfectly. The whole experience was mesmerizing, and then making matcha for ourselves was really fun. A perfect way to entertain teens, as well. Mikiko herself is very friendly and enthusiastic.

The location is in an apartment building but GPS found it easily. It's about a 15 minute walk from Roppongi Hills. On Mikiko's recommendation we walked back through Arisugawa park, which was bucolic, especially the turtle pond.
    Highly recommended.
