    If you're looking for a "special" souvenir of your trip to Zhangjiajie look no further than this Gallery. Instead of liquid paints every "painting" here is made from crushed and whole rocks/pebbles and/or wood/bamboo particles. This type of "3D" media truly expresses the uniqueness of this exotic region! We purchased 3 "paintings" for a very reasonable cost. They were carefully packaged and we hand carried them with us. They do have a shipping service if required. These are one of a kind creations which you won't find duplicated any where else in your travels throughout Asia.

    Li River cruise
    Well this was a typical river cruise but this time on the river Li in China

    On board the state run vessel we found the facilities ok with plenty of room to move around with typical Chinese style toilets - (that's a hole in the floor) there are plenty of staff to look after you, the commentary was fine albeit the girls first language was Chinese and it was difficult to understand some of here English explanations but that aside she did a good job and it was laudable.

    With lots of opportunity to purchase beverages the lunch was again as you might expect typically Chinese and in my opinion not for the faint hearted - top tip have a good breakfast before you board...

    Overall worth going on and great picture opportunities to be had on the 4 hour trip.

    Wulei Mountain, A wonderful place you must see
    Wulei Mountain is located in Cili County, Zhangjiajie City. This mountain was praised as " the South Wudang Mountain" since it was built as one of the famous Taoist in the early Tang Dynasty.
    The 48-Stockade Scenic Area, including Wulei Mountain, Xingde Mountain, Mengquan Lake, Laopeng Village, Sanwang Village and Shuangyun Village, is a rising tourism destination for hiking, adventure, natural, and farm tour.
    Zhangjiajie holiday is an expert to arrange any type tours of Zhangjiajie.
