We took a taxi (Taksi Jari Kaari) from Luosto to the Park and purchased our pre-booked tickets in the wooden Kopara Lodge adjacent to the car park. Then a 400 metre walk for the reindeer sledge. There were two reindeer ‘caravans’ during our visit and we had a sleigh each. It was a relaxing 30 minute ride on the snow through woodlands at walking pace. After the reindeer ride walked back to the Lodge via the Reindeer Trail where we could see reindeer at close hand and feed reindeer (mushroom pellets supplied). Food, drink and reindeer souvenirs can be purchased at the Lodge. We got the same taxi back to Luosto.
