Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Vacation280128353001 contributionFantastic place to visit... My son and I was visiting the place july 2024. Very kind guide, we got a personel tour, cause we where the only 2 speaking english.
But it would have been nice knowing, that there is some rules for digging after amethyst.
"You can bring back home, one amethyst each person, if it fits nto your fist..."😉 The rest of them, belongs to the mine...
But once in a time experience, is also a good experience...
Have a nice trip, if you go to the mine....Written 12 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - JonGreenwich, UK19,529 contributionsMyself and a friend visited on a weekday in February 2024.
We took a taxi (Taksi Jari Kaari) from Luosto to the Park and purchased our pre-booked tickets in the wooden Kopara Lodge adjacent to the car park. Then a 400 metre walk for the reindeer sledge. There were two reindeer ‘caravans’ during our visit and we had a sleigh each. It was a relaxing 30 minute ride on the snow through woodlands at walking pace. After the reindeer ride walked back to the Lodge via the Reindeer Trail where we could see reindeer at close hand and feed reindeer (mushroom pellets supplied). Food, drink and reindeer souvenirs can be purchased at the Lodge. We got the same taxi back to Luosto. In all, a brilliant and memorable day out.Written 22 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This trip isn't cheap but it can't be missed. Everything the day was brilliant. - Patrick H3 contributionsWe took our two young children to both the reindeer sleigh ride experience and the Kota dinner. Both experiences were fantastic and will be cherished family memories. The farm is family run and you can feel their passion for what they do. Highly recommend.Written 6 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
