Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- TravelbugVietnamVietnam1,667 contributionsI had originally visited Yongle in December, but as it was a Sunday it was closed. This time I wanted a table runner made exactly the same as one I have on my dining table and had faded. I found a woman who sewed and she called a young man who turned out to be her son and spoke really good English. I showed them both the old runner and the mother suggested a particular fabric seller on the floor below. Sean, the son came with me and acted as interpreter. I couldn't believe it when I found the exact same fabric as the old runner which I had bought ready made in Shanghai years ago. We all consulted on yardage and the trimmings then we took it back to the mother to sew. I said I would pick it up a few days later. Sean offered to deliver it to my hotel and it arrived and looked perfect along with the old runner and the left over fabric. They had even included a little gift for me in the shape of a coin purse on a key ring. I loved this market and my new table runner. It was so convenient having the fabrics and the sewing people all in the one building. So if you want something copied or cushion covers or anything else you are sure to find it at Yongle marketWritten 18 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Linda KPort Saint Lucie, FL2,358 contributionsJust outside the subway station of the same name, this traditional market sells a bit of everything -- fresh produce and fruits, meats, fish, eggs and prepared foods. Try to avoid the scooters driving through the market and for a respite, duck into the Wenchang Temple for a bit of quiet. For a special treat, be sure to grab a Taiwanese Burrito from the vendor across the street to the south of the temple -- the best NT$35 you'll spend all day.Written 5 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - digitalrocCalgary, Canada1,496 contributionsAfter visiting Taipei Confucius Temple, we stopped here at the Dalong Street Night Market to look around and get a snack to tie us over until we got back to the hotel. The market here wasn’t on my list to do, so the market itself was average. However, we ordered some pork dumplings as takeaway from the restaurant on the corner called Bafang Dumpling, they were very good, and inexpensive.Written 19 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
