Although the quality of museums in Johannesburg is generally quite high (Apartheid museum, Origins Centre, Hector Pieterson, Constitution Hill), this place stands out for me as one of the best museums in Joburg.
The sidewalk that leads to the Museum from the car-park is lined with colourful and informative banners describing the liberation history of South Africa.
