    They must have had some celebrations here in the past. Stunning stone circle! Well worth stopping if in the area.

    Review of: Lough Gur Heritage Center
    Peaceful, wonderful, beautiful and fun
    If you are lucky and have a fine day, it is wonderfully beautiful to visit. Start by entering the two thatched buildings near the playground which house the visitor centre. Here you will meet lovely staff like Áine who will outline where to go using the self guide audio and map. Be warned the 100 steps to the viewing point may require prescription back pain tablets, but worth it. In the visitor centre there is fun for all dressing up in fine pageantry gowns. You could spend many lovely hours here and then go on to enjoy the nearby stone circle with mystic healing properties.

    very nice stop/ interesting
    This is a lovely museum - very nice artifacts and memorabilia. Kudos to the community for maintaining and presenting this.
