Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow, the church here is massive. We stopped out after a visit in Roscrea and it was the highlight of my day. The church is absolutely gorgeous. Unique stained glass and art work throughout. So peaceful. The grounds were amazing too as we walked the long trail, it was so peaceful.

A wonderful day or half day experience. all the thrills you are seeking and time to enjoy a burger and rest at the end of an enjoyable days trail riding. All helped by the force of gravity. A trail here for all levels of rider even first timers, which I was one a couple of years ago. enjoy great hospitality and great thrills solo or with a group of mates.

A bit of a mucky walk down a laneway to get to the abbey. But the abbey looks impressive standing on a walled island in the middle of a field (which was originally a lake but has drained over time).

    Fancroft Mill
Tucked away in the rural countryside this is an absolute gem to visit.
Irene & Marcus Sweeney have done an outstanding restoration job & continued maintenance of the Mill & Gardens.
They have lovingly researched all aspects of the history & cultural influences of the Mill's founding family, Pyms, on the surrounding countryside.
You can't but be impressed with the ingenuity, & valuable place this Mill has on the heritage of Ireland.
Am heading back again for Heritage week August 2023, & can't wait!
I visited with the SPAB Ireland, on Mill Heritage weekend.

the best thing about the roscea attractions is one ticket gets you most of them... which is great the cross, the black Mills and castle all worth the visit ... the black Mills have been renovated to take them from ruins to weather tight buildings again .... and to do that they have incorporated a LARGE glass wall which allows for natural light and keeps the rain and cold out... there are many interesting exhibits inside and again another little look at a time gone by ...

Nicely laid out course, I'd say due to the boggy land it's on it gets soggy at times. Good value for money and people were friendly. You have to be accurate off the tee as the trees will punish you if not, driver isn't the best option at times. Very typical midlands golf course.
Par 3s were easy enough & all similar length.
Overall, enjoyable to play & food is nice & reasonably priced.
    Well done Roscrea.

We wanted to watch rugby world cup while driving between Dublin and Kerry and fell over this gem in Roscrea. The rugby was on and everyone in the bar was so knowledgeable about the sport. The owner Brendan is a charmer and made us so welcome. There are lots of rugby memorabilia and the clientele are all very pleasant. A delightful pub

there’s alot of extra and unnecessary cardio machines and in need of a hack squat or pendulum squat , 4 or 5 benches ,1 squat rack and 1 smith machine , it gets the job done but for the price I was expecting a much higher quality gym
