Of the 3 department stores in the area, it is the biggest with north and south blocks. You can find at the top floor their Roof Top Garden Park. At the basement, again, food stalls and grocery items for take out. We went there after 5:30pm and looked for our desired food items to bring back to hotel for dinner. Discount can be 50%. Bakery items are not cheap.

Its a great shoppingcenter for both families and couples. Lots of different stores with clothes, shoes, toys and almost anything else you could look for in a mall.
Lots of restaurants and cafés aswell.
On the top deck there is an aquarium and terrarium that are also worth if a visit if you already plan to visit the mall.

This is another of a nice departmental store in the area located near the station, covering several storeys that offer all kinds of lifestyle products people need. It was quite crowded when we came by here, especially the basement supermarket. It was huge and had a wide variety of food, fresh fruits and veggies, meats, dairy products etc. There are also several food kiosks and stalls that sell local and nice food like cakes and pastries, bento sets etc that are so tempting and nice!

We did buy some food here before heading back to Shinjuku where our hotel was!

We aimed to go to the basement of Seibu Department Store, but we happened to take a detour to visit this shopping park. As we were not familiar with its floor map, we just window shopped and found an exit to Seibu Department Store.

My friend and I went to this little shopping centre, as we were looking for certain product at “Matsu-kiyo” drug store. But the store there was too small to stock what I wanted. The convenient store had a few in stock, but the price was higher.

Located near the train station, this is one of the 3 departments stores in the area. No surprises but they have lots of restaurants at 7-8/F. Similar to other Japanese one, the basement has food court n supermarket for grocery items.

While staying at Hotel Metropolitan, we found the Lumine restaurants on the 8th floor very convenient and good. We’ve also been to the cafe on the ground floor. For this time, we went to Doutor Coffee in the basement of Lumine.

It’s a skinny building which is another mall. We wondered how all these shops could survive. We only went there for lunch at the traditional Japanese noodle restaurant.
