You can walk, jog, or ride a bike around the large path that encircles the park.
It is a great park for me as a runner, since it has an official running track around the park, and it is also a nice place for families with kids because it has a bunch of small parks for children inside the park...

Great park adjacent to the river, right next to the large shopping Area.
Nice place to walk,if you live nearby,not to visit for tourists..or you have special reasons to go there ..you can enjoy the coffee in the Starbucks in the park!!

Hanegi Park is perfect to visit in Mid- February to early March when almost 650 plum trees in pink, red and white colors are beautifully blooming around the park.
There are many seats and benches so one can sit and relax and the park is also accessible with wheelchair.

Overall, this large park is a beautiful and peaceful place in the center of Tokyo, and i would highly recommend it for many notable aspects (see my pictures).
