    Review of: Kitte Marunouchi
    Great for homewares
    Nicely designed shopping mall at the foot of the JP tower incorporates the former post office and has probably my favourite group of homewares shops at decent prices. You find things here like kitchen supplies, incense from Kyoto, Tokyo design items, night cloths and fashion. No disco music and nice for gentle shopping with no pressure. It’s worth heading up to the garden on the rooftop for views of Tokyo station and also heading to the letter room.

    Review of: Oedo Antique Market - Tokyo International Forum
    Awesome antique market
    First time visited this large antique market. More than 100 booths and most of them are selling vintage stuff, including accessories, clothing, wooden and ceramic items. Staff are friendly and helpful. The market location was very convenient, just few minutes walk from the JR station.

    Review of: Shin-Marunouchi Bldg.
    Higher end shopping complex
    This building has 7 floors of shops and restaurants including a Starbucks on the lowest level. Its directly connected to the Tokyo station which makes it nice if its raining or cold. Lots of options for shopping but mostly geared towards women.

    Review of: Marunouchi Brick Square
    A fun place to hang out
    We were looking for somewhere to eat and came across this area. It doesn't feel like Tokyo at all. There really are a lot of bricks. Restaurants with outdoor dining. More like Europe than anywhere else.

    As well as restaurants, there's a really interesting art museum and curio/fashion shops. A good place to hang out, soak up the atmosphere and watch the people go by. Good food, too.

    After examining each of the restaurants, we settled on an Italian one and ate inside. Later, when we emerged, it was dark but the square felt warm and cozy. Almost like Christmas.

    Review of: Tokyo Midtown Hibiya
    Fine Dining!
    It is not so easy to find a good restaurant what come close to your taste. This is the one we like. We had a good eating with a perfect service.the restaurant has a fine selection of menus in English language.

    Review of: First Avenue Tokyo Station
    Busy & Beautiful!
    One of the busiest train stations in Japan; also, one of the most beautiful train station in Japan. It's also a great shopping centre with Dimaru shopping centre there with the underground shops, cafes and restaurants.
    Since most of the JR lines come to this station, confusion might happen as some areas didn't have enough English signs or some of the signs are not quite clear (unless you are local).

    TOKYO KOTSU KAIKAN
    Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan is a complex building in Yuraku-cho, Chiyoda-ku, which opened in 1995 and and houses stores, offices, and exhibition halls.
    It is famous for its building where people always gather because it is close to Ginza and has antenna shops and famous restaurant where you can line up all over Japan.
    Public institutions such as post offices and passport renewal procedures can also be done here.

    Review of: Marunouchi Building
    Great photography vantage point 5th floor!
    Great mall with fashion - no international big brands - nice local Japanese. Great selection of eateries especially on level 5 and 6, and spaces to sit down and take a rest. The reason I came here was to take a photo of the Tokyo Railway Station - great outdoor vantage point for photography. There is a furniture decor shop with impressive Japanese designs. Good selection of things to do.

    good to have souvenirs
    Here is quite useful shopping arcade inside of ticket gate at the basement floor at JR Tokyo station but crowded. You can have souvenirs, sweets and bento. I visited Trainiart-Tokyo which specialized in train motif knickknacks to get some souvenirs for a foreign friend. And also I bought sweets for family.

    Review of: Yurakucho Marui
    Luxurious Shopping Center
    Went here during our visit to Tokyo. The Yurakucho Marui is a tall-looking building containing a shopping center and an office building though it’s the shopping center that we visited.

    The shopping center is luxurious. It rises 8 storeys tall with each storey being sizeable enough to have sitting areas for the visitors to rest their foot. The brands are high-end ranging from clothing to suitcases. Somehow it’s reminiscent of shopping centers in Singapore.

    At the ground floor there is a Pocky counter with custom-made boxes not found elsewhere.

    Convenient and fashionable
    This is my favorite place in Tokyo because it's conveniently located next to Tokyo Station and there is Maruzen.

    Review of: Art Jeunesse Akihabara
    A very interesting area to walk arround
    Assuming you can pull yourself away from Yodobashi Camera store, the rest of the shopping district is very interesting. There are all kinds of hobbyist electronics and lighting stalls, Anime and Cosplay stores. There were a number of costumed individuals walking the streets advertising one business or another. Unfortunately most of them did not want their picture taken.
