Nobu was a great guide with lots of knowledge. We got to see lots of great cultural sites and learned a bunch.

This is a must do adventure. Great food, interesting learning, good sake, great interactive experience with geisha. Our guide Shoji and Geisha Yu Ki Mi were terrific. Lots of fun and memories

My trip to Tokyo was impromptu. I didn't have a plan in mind so I decided to book a private tour with Viator. Miho Ogashiwa was my tour guide and what a brilliant tour guide she is. I changed my hotel from what I originally booked. Making contact with Miho and getting her to meet me at the new hotel was not a problem at all. She was on time and had a plan in place. She is very patient and went the extra mile to help me get everything I needed. Miho is also extremely knowledgeable and speaks brilliant English as a second language. My day was so fulfilling I enjoyed every bit of it. We toured the fish market, the shrines, and the temples. I could only do half a day because that was all I had time for but If you can, do a full-day tour and ask for Miho, you won't regret it. If I ever go back to Tokyo, I sure would want to be guided by her again. Thank you Miho, It was a pleasure meeting you. And of course, I love Tokyo!!! Amazing city.

This is my second time to visit Japan, and this tour was just nice!
If someone who love to visit not so popular or secret side of japan or something local, this is the one you should try!
Basically walking so summer time might not be suitable though

Yumi was an exceptional guide. I really enjoyed the trip and was indulged in the rich history and culture I saw during the tour. Yumi was extremely knowledgeable and was able to tailor the tour based on my preferences. She was flexible due to my schedule and I would highly recommend her to others. Time well spent!

Our family of 3 took a guided tour of Tokyo with Mr. Takashi Koizumi. He is an excellent guide, very professional, timely, thorough and knowledgeable, with fantastic command of English. Had a great time, seen and learned a lot. Even though this was a holiday in Japan and all museums were closed, our guide made sure that our time was well spent and worthwhile. The driver, Mr. Toshi was also very professional and his driving was very safe. Overall, very highly recommended.

I'm quite late to review, but my partner and I are big on trying new things and this tour was perfect for us. We got to try whale, horse, puffer fish, I don't remember what else but it was great for novelty. Mack was really nice and accommodating, would definitely recommend for adventurous eaters!

Shin was fantastic, very very knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions - tour related and Japanese lifestyle/culture/history in general.
We were able to see some fantastic historical, cultural and religious sites and scenes, try some nifty Japanese treats/desserts and had lunch at a beautiful little restaurant that had a lovely aesthetic and small family-business vibe.
Would highly recommend, and have signed up for one of the bar-hops with Magical Trip

We absolutely loved our tour with our guide Miki and our two 12 & 14 year old kids had a ball. All credit to Akira for helping us to organise a last minute tour on a Saturday which was the last day we had in Tokyo. Miki adjusted the tour to suit our timeframe and lead us through so many great spots on this tour. We had spent 5 days in Tokyo on the Shinjuku side and really wanted to see some older, local spots before we left. This tour did not disappoint! We would recommend this experience to everyone!

We arrived by subway to this lovely inn and experienced a private lesson in the art of Ikebana including each person making their own arrangement. We then had tea and toured the inn. Our hostesses were charming, patient and very informative.Through our lesson we learned the philosophy behind the art or ikebana and developed an understanding of Japanese beauty where less can be more

If you’re travelling solo and want a very personalised adventurous eating experience this tour is fantastic. I love Japanese food but had no idea where to go for the more adventurous and exotic dishes and I don’t speak Japanese. This tour does the hard work for you. If you’re lucky enough to get Mack as your tour guide you’ve hit the jackpot. He’s so diligent and concerned with ensuring you get the best experience that at first he comes of a little stiff. This is just him trying to work out the best tour he can. After a bit of conversation (and a sake) and once he’s sure he understands what you want he’s excellent company and unbelievably knowledgeable. He knows the right places to go and is able to make changes along the way. We chatted so much that we were late for our bookings twice but no problem for Mack who smooths the way. I highly recommend this tour. 5 stars!
