Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This 15th century church, a reconstruction of a 13th century church, is unusual in having identifiable remains of a belfry. It is arguably unique in that it shows evidence of a second-story residence. There is evidence to support the belief that the upper story also had a defensive purpose, possibly to protect from marauders.
And like most of the fascinating ruins in Ireland, it's free! It doesn't have interpretive signage, so preliminary Internet research is a good idea.

Beautiful and casual walk through the countryside of the Burren. We went when the wind was howling and in the rain and still enjoyed it! You’ll see a church, temple, and holy well along the way. The path is marked with little arrows. Look for the stone steps over the walls.

This is a must do! It is definitely off the beaten path but so glad we found it because it was one of the highlights of our entire trip! We were not sure what to expect but were wowed by this hidden gem 🤩. First off Joan in the perfumery was an absolute doll! So friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. After picking out a bunch of stuff to be shipped home (free shipping over 75 euro I believe) she told us about all the other amenities here. From the incredibly delicious pistachio rose water cake in the cafe (they have lunch type items as well) to the 2 beautiful gardens, and the soap making room, and the mixing/bottling (?) room I was awe struck at how someone could create such an oasis in a most unexpected place. Not to mention the burren itself was beyond beautiful. Plan some time to check that out as well. Can’t wait for my package to arrive when I get home!
