Visited yesterday thoroughly enjoyed it. Guide showed a real passion for the centre and the locality.

Our day happened to be dry but this walk would be good in all weather, I think, i.e. no muddy paths. Interesting vistas as well as roadside flora. Constant sound of birds yet we saw few.
Best part was coffee and cake at Burren Perfumery before starting and lunch at Cassady's after :-)

This 15th century church, a reconstruction of a 13th century church, is unusual in having identifiable remains of a belfry. It is arguably unique in that it shows evidence of a second-story residence. There is evidence to support the belief that the upper story also had a defensive purpose, possibly to protect from marauders.
And like most of the fascinating ruins in Ireland, it's free! It doesn't have interpretive signage, so preliminary Internet research is a good idea.

Hi. Three of us headed out with Tony for a Burren tour. Mixed abilities. Tony picked a perfect route first of all. Then he blew us away. As an all Irish group all had been to the Burren multiple times and thought we knew it all.
How wrong you can be. Had fun. Learned lots. Enjoyed the walk. During the couple of hours walking we couldn’t plumb the depths of Tony’s knowledge. History. Geology. Flora and fauna. Something for everybody.
Honestly it’s a bit since we did the tour but for me it was one of the most enjoyable tourist experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world.
    Could not recommend Tony enough.
    Thanks again

Well worth a visit. Came in may with my sister. The perfumery and cafe are picturesque and well maintained. The staff member was lovely and spent time with us explaining and demonstrating the perfume range. We went away with some lovely soaps and lotions. The wild rose perfume was gorgeous and is definitely on my future purchase wish list.
