Really crowded but when in Rome...
The Bean is a tourist magnet but worth at least looking at for 2 minutes. The park itself is really magnificent with lots to enjoy. We were there in Feb so ice skating was available. There are good views of the city and lots of great people watching. In better weather, it'd be a great place to just go and sit. Definitely recommend.

    The Bean
Several visits to Chicago and I keep promising to go see The Bean at Millennium park. Yet, every time I think it's too cold to walk there. This time I decided to detour a few blocks over to see how far it was... and I was near it every visit! It is amazing art to experience, yes experience, even on a cold day. I wish I had gone sooner and I'll return in different seasons. Definitely a must-go!

    Home to The Bean
Nice park, very spacious. Take a walk, enjoy a picnic, or just sit down and take in the view of the city. Home to The Cloud Gate aka The Bean. It's definitely worth taking a walk through. Enjoy!

Millennium Park and the bean, must see if visit Chicago
Don't miss this icon in Chicago. The park is very good for everything you want from the outdoor strolling in Chicago, it is right by the Art Institute and Magnificent Mile (Michigan Ave.) A must see if you are in Chicago. Chicago is one of the best city in the world for its architect buildings. River/lake, are a good combine boat tour while you are in Chicago.

    Breathtaking happiness
The buzz around Bean … got so many pics only because people were enjoying it. I don’t know what is it called the atmosphere where everyone is happy, enjoying with families. It was a fantastic walk around the park Highly recommended

Visited during the day. I felt safe, the park was clean, the tulips were in bloom.
walked through the park on a Saturday. Many people but I always felt safe. The park was clean and there were many flowers in bloom. A bit cold in April along the water so be prepared. A great way to get out, get your steps in, people watch and see an oasis within the big city.

Seeing the works a different way
Despite wind and spitting rain, seeing “The Bean” was an experience. The complex curvatures of the highly reflective Freeform sculpture invite hours of study and play. Stand 10m back and try to find yourself in the reflection, or get under it and see how many “you’s” you can find. The inclusion of the Chicago skyline in any pictures makes these a real keeper for memories!

    A Perfect Park in Chicago.
Visited the park in early May of 2023 on a Thursday morning. The weather was perfect which made it all the easier to appreciate the sights. The fountains were not operational when we visited, but this was maybe the only thing that could possibly have made the experience more memorable. Take your time and bring a friend or two.

    Interesting stop
Amazing piece of interactive art. Worth seeing if you have the time. We were there on a cold rainy day and didn’t want to linger. Millinium Park would be better on a sonny day later in the spring and summer. Still worth a visit in any case.

    Highlight of Chicago
We had a very special few days in Chicago, the park is so clean and well kept, great gift shop, lots of open space and the bean is a highlight, ages ranging from 4-60 all absolutely loved it, great picture opportunity. It was very busy but well worth a visit, the live music in the park made for a great atmosphere. We were on the tour bus and this is a stop.

Millennium Park is a beautiful green space in downtown Chicago most known as the location of "The Bean" or more correctly named Cloud Gate. However, there is much more to the park including the Crown Fountain, Millennium Monument, the Lurie Botanical Garden and the Jay Pritzker Pavillion which is an amphitheater offering open air concerts throughout the summer months, many of them free to the public. It is also just a great place to wander, sit on a bench, people watch or view the stunning Chicago skyline. However, the park is also very busy with visitors as it seems that everyone who visits Chicago has to see The Bean. Visit early in the day to avoid the crowds. The park opens at 6am if you really want to get a special photo.

It was my first time visiting Chicago so naturally I wanted to see the Bean (or Cloud Gate), but unfortunately it was closed from the public during our visit. Millennium Park was still nice though – it's an inviting location with immediate access to the Lakefront and the Riverwalk and Lakefront trails. It's probably even prettier in the summer, although this time around we got to enjoy the quiet and peaceful park with not many visitors. Views of the skyline are great.

This is a nice park to walk around. Using the bridges and reviewing the waterfalls that are available.
The bean statue was shut off for renovation works when I walked around.

Also the park hosted the Chicago marathon which was great, but some areas were sections off for a short amount of time.

Definitely worth a walk to have a look around

Some big doofus hurled an egg mayo sandwich at my son, it went all over his paw patrol tracksuit, whoever did that owes me £10.50 for a new tracksuit. I only take checks. Also, the food taste like doo doo

Currently the Bean has a barricade around it. No one knew how long or what is being done in the park. There is an ice skating rink near by if you are looking for something to do.

"The Bean" is kinda cool - it's this shiny sculpture that reflects the skyline in a fun way. The park has green spots, cool fountains, and art stuff outside. It's just a chill place to hang out in the middle of the city. Check it out if you're around!

The park was interesting and well covered in our tour, just not very interesting in the winter, without the water on in the fountains

Millennium Park is like a downtown haven in Chicago. The cool Cloud Gate sculpture and fun Crown Fountain make it stand out. You've got green gardens to chill in and open spaces for a casual escape. Whether it's a laid-back stroll or catching a live show at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, the park is a must-see mix of city vibes and chill spots.
