We had our son's birthday party at the heritage park in Dun Na Si recently and I can only recommend it entirely for such an occasion. Karen, the park team & cafe staff were so welcoming and helpful. A lovely chat about the animals as the children helped in feeding them. Plenty of space to roam with settings to explore and the food perfect for the occasion. It really was a party at our own pace with lots of fun!!

Have been many times but this was my first time visiting for Halloween. Went with my two kids 12 and 10 and we all found it brilliant. I must say well done to the organisers as they put in some amount of effort and planning. The decorations and actors were just brilliant. It was spooky enough to keep my two entertained without actually scaring them. Wish I had gone to it before.

Absolutely gorgeous centre with wonderful treasures to explore - the kids loved being able to walk inside the old cottages and look at the furniture and utensils from the olden days. The playground and walkways are fantastic too - we spent 3 hours here on a lovely sunny day, and would highly recommend it.

Family visit to this lovely farm museum, park and farm with walking trails, a playground and cafe. The museum houses old farm machinery and equipment and took my Father back to when he was younger using these on his farm with a work horse. There are toilets available at different points and the cafe provided tasty wraps/panini's. Definitely worth a visit with the whole family.

Fabulous park, I highly recommend a visit! Plenty to see and do for all ages. The step back in time and immersion in life as it would be in the various houses and exhibits on site is just magical! The Comhaltas connection and fantastic information displays in the Teach Ceoil should be mandatory viewing for every Irish person! Excellent cafe on site, food is hot, service is excellent and very reasonably priced! Staff all ove rthe centre are most wecloming and are a credit to the place! Wonderful amenity on our doorstep! We will definitely return!

We attended the Christmas Experience again this year and both of our daughters loved it! Lovely team working at Dun na Si and so much effort was put in to the experience overall, the lights, the elves, Mrs Claus, Santa and the live crib with animals. It was a great evening.

Our grandaughters, 2 and a half and 1 year and 2 weeks loved the Christmas Walk Around. The younger was wide eyed and happy and the older sister was enthralled by the Animals. She loved Santa and introduced herself to him. She threw a lost snowball back to the Naughty Elves and was amazed by the Live Crib. The girls presents, food for reindeer and a cuddly toy were perfect for our two.
Thank You All so much for this unforgetable experience.

As always, we had a beautiful Christmas Experience at Dun na Si. Our guide was lovely as were all those we met as we circled the park. The kids had great fun throwing snowballs with the elves. They loved watching the geese, donkeys, little calves. There was a live crib too. We met Mrs Claus, the 3 wise men and finally Santy himself. Each of the kids received a goodie bag and we were then treated to hot chocolate and tasty mulled drinks.
The attention to detail was excellent - the costumes, the decorations, lighting etc. created a beautiful ambience - all the quaint little houses and huts around the park so aptly presented.
Well done to all concerned..thanks v much for a really memorable evening yet again..

Hi, can anyone explain the parking arrangements and charges, please? Does buying an entry ticket include parking or do you need to also buy a parking ticket?
Dún na Sí Amenity and Heritage Park
Moate, Ireland
Thank you for your question. Tickets for the Heritage Park do not include parking. We have a car park barrier system in place, with parking costing €2 for the day. This can be paid on the way out of the park at the barrier. All coins from 10c to €2 are accepted at the barrier.
