Good place for hurling or Gaelic football
Our tour guide stopped here to demonstrate Irish sports (hurling and Gaelic football). I enjoyed watching the demonstration. The beach itself had hard sand--there were some motor vehicles on the beach itself. We also saw a few people in the water, even though the air temperature was maybe 60 F (15.5C). Clearly, the Irish people are pretty hardy.

Great beach and not too crowded
Spent a good few hours on this beach. Easy to walk on when the tide is out. We were in a car and parked on the beach. Saw a few campers get stuck and needed to be pulled out so beware. Surprised at how many small crabs that were dead on the beach and beware of the jelly fish that are also left by the receding tide.

    Breath taking views
This is an amazing beach with stunning 360 views. Plenty of space here so it doesn't feel crowded despite being popular. You can drive down it or park. I recommend walking it if you are able. There are toilet facilities close by, albeit needing updated. There is also a bar/restaurant called Sammy's at the seafront with picnic tables and shelter outside (delicious food, great service and atmosphere but I'll leave a separate review for them). The walk along this beach is truly refreshing, therapeutic even. Plenty of pretty little shells strewn over the beach as well as the odd jelly.

    Long sandy beach
Walked for an hour and still didn't reach the end. Lovely beach. The car park is tiny so everyone parks on the beach. I've never seen that before. There's a big sign up warning you when high tide is. I saw one car really near the ocean about an hour before high tide, then the owner came out of the ocean and drove away.

    Fabulous whatever the weather
The beach is fairly pristine and popular throughout the day with coach tours. Danny’s has a bar and restaurant which are great and the little surf shop has plenty of souvenirs and a small amount of essentials, milk, wine and painkillers. Opposite the beach is Kitty’s food truck which is excellent and features on Facebook. The beach is accessible in your car or Campervan and high tide is clearly displayed. I thoroughly recommend the campsite opposite by the same name, basic but brilliant. Will do separate review

Inch By Inch, Inch Beach Is Impressive
On our drive from Killarney to Dingle, my wife and I made a deliberate stop here to spend some time enjoying this massively impressive beach. You could literally play football here be it American or European. We enjoyed taking a long walk along the shore as the waves lapped on our feet. We even made time for an ice cream at Murphy's. Lots of fun to be had so spend the day at Inch Beach.

    Spectacular Highlight of our Trip
This beach was a favorite highlight of our Ireland trip. We were so lucky as we had gorgeous warm weather our whole trip even though we had prepared for much colder. We arrived at the Beach at 4:30 / 5 p.m. and because it was 26 degrees there were people enjoying the fabulous 5 km stretch of pristine beach but with so much room it was never crowded and many packed up to leave. We enjoyed the fabulous waves breaking for hours and played and frolicked with such fun. Loved it and so wish it was closer to home! A treasured memory!

Lovely beach but plastic everywhere. Cars are also allowed on it. Dogs everywhere. Car park scruffy. Rotting/rusting container for surf board storage. This beach deserves better. Clear it of plastic, remove the cars, tidy up the car park area and this could be a cracker.

The biggest beach I've been on in Ireland. You can even drive your car onto the beach. Surf school available which is cool. Snacks nearby.

It was beautiful until the rain set in! We had to dash to our car, but were absolutely drenched by the time we got to it.

Went there last Saturday, early September on a sunny day, the beach itself would be lovely, long, sandy with a dune, but it is unrecognizable, there are hundreds of cars and vans parked on the beach itself, some idling, with open doors and loud music, just horrible. No real space to put your towel where it is dry, because the cars are there. We left frustrated and very sorry for the degradation of this beautiful strip of nature. Came back on a rainy Wednesday, the parking space was empty, but still there were cars and vans parked on the beach. There is a bus from Killarney, no need to come by car! This is how we treat our nature.

Drove the car along the sand to a nice spot near the dunes. This beach is simply enormous and beautiful. Great day out for all.
