We had a Group Booking for about 16 people. It was a 12.30pm start so the place was pretty busy by then. Some of the group ordered drinks from the table and some from the bar with bar orders being done straight away. As for...More

What a beautiful setting and interesting building but the Axemans Hall of Fane is still closed. No town signage let’s you know. The site looks abandoned but locals are fishing and walking their dogs along the river frontage. No sign of a restaurant there but...More

Thai food really fresh and tasty. Interesting building with many stories to tell. Definitely worth a visit for a snack or dinner. The Maker's Market on Sundays is a treasure trove of local arts and crafts and adjacent riverside gardens, playground and dog walking tracks...More

Museum seems to be a craft day for the ladies in the town and very little was devoted to the Hall of Fame. Was very disappointing. You even had to eat in cafe to use toilets.

Today was our second attempt to see the Axemen's Hall of Fame. Apparently it's closed on Mondays. Other visitors had managed to be allowed in to see the displays so we followed them. Interesting memorabilia and stories and a well stocked souvenir shop, but we...More

My friend and I called by to look at museum and displays of wood products. There is a Thai restaurant there, but we didn't sample. Good area for functions (wedding set up). The museum was interesting with info on champions of past.
