great park , lots to do and excellent value for money with unique feeding and animal meeting experiences that are just not available elsewhere. However lots of work being carried out and building paraphenalia everywhere and in the way. I f you are planning a visit - leave it till the summer , if you are thinking of going now... More

Got there a bit later on this visit but this didn't ruin the experience any. Seemed asthough a few of the animal enclosures were getting a bit of maintenance done to them So a few of the animals didn't seem To be out. Still enjoyed the visit though and will return again soon.

This is a lovely safari zoo with plenty of animals to see. There are options to get involved with the feeding of the animals although this is a more expensive entrance ticket. You can get up close and personal with some of the animals including lemurs and penguins. A lovely day out.

We decided to come here from Gateshead as heard great things and we weren't left disappointed. We arrived about 10:30 and the queues were steady away considering it was the half term as well. We paid £15.50 per adult and the child went free which was great. I have heard certain voucher sites often have family tickets on for cheap... More

It's six years since we last visited and found lots of changings some not for the better. The place in our opinion could do with some T L C... More

This zoo, now called safari park, was once a jewel in the Crown. It can now be honestly described as a dump in need of urgent management change. The animals seem scarce, depressed and some obviously suffering from stress related conditions with feathers completely missing and little movement. Visitors are told not to touch, as animals are to be kept... More
