Having been to some of the other cloud rainforest areas of Monteverde I had found that they did not live up to my imagined cloud rainforest (although they were fantastic). The rainforest here far exceeded my expectations. It was stunning and the trail with the...More

We did the unguided tree top walk. Although the trees are beautiful and we saw a monkey, it is very expensive. You can see the same animals and nature when walking around on your own.

We did the hanging bridges. It was alot of fun. Saw a howler monkey right over our heads. You can also view the zipline overhead.

Hanging Bridges, ziplines, butterfly and hummingbird gardens all in one day! The hanging bridge walk is beautiful - (you'll want a private guide to see wildlife but even alone, the views are stellar) but the best reason to visit is the ziplines. Yes, the lines...More

Very worth it. Easy hike with knowledgeable guides. Better to do in reverse to avoid the crowds. Did first before the zip lines. Weather is better in the morning for the views.

Our family of four spent the day at Selvatura Park. Our hotel arranged our reservations and transportation which I would highly recommend as the drive to the park is dirt road with some steep hills and there is limited parking available. I have a 6-year...More

We visited as a family of 4. We didn't book, and we didn't book or need a guide. There's no need for the expense of a guide, or an organised trip. The hanging bridges are cool, but anyone waxing lyrical about vertiginous drops is just...More

So great to see the cloud forest from above. 8 hanging bridges offering a spectacular view. Good company. They pick you up at your hotel and drive you back. Not cheap, but certainly worth it.

We had a great visit to the zip lines and hanging bridges. The views are truly breathtaking. We were fortunate to be there on a clear day (just before a huge storm came). Our 10 year old daughters is petite-- weighs 55 lbs and was...More

I did the hanging bridges with access to the hummingbird garden and the reptile area. All 3 and transportation to/from the hotel costs around $60 booked through the hotel.

It was not very expensive, in my opinion. A 15-line zip tour was only $50 and took us two hours. It was incredible. And they have many other activities. The gift shop is very reasonable. Everyone is SUPER NICE!!! PURA VIDA!!
