The views from the top are lovely. Prices were reasonable too, push chair access near the top is difficult but the views are worth it.

There is very little of the castle left and that little is populated by shops. The views are fine, but they are nicer from the various mountains in the area. We would rather skip the place and spend those couple of hours elsewhere.
The walk up to the citadel from the base of the hill (with free parking) is surprisingly easy and short (took maybe 10-15 minutes). The citadel itself has some great views and is cool to explore. It was a little busy, but not overcrowded like...More
The fortress is beautiful, not very well maintained ... it can see garbage areas. Surrounding are cheap and low-quality souvenir stalls. The view above is spectacular, so it's worth to visiting.
It's worth a visit for the great views of the surrounding area. The citadel itself is nothing spectacular. There were lots of stalls selling souvenirs. You can pay to get driven up the hill from the car park if you don't fancy the walk.
If, like myself, you are making the drive from Brasov down to Bran to see Drac's castle, then you must allow yourself an hour to visit the Rasnov Citadel. You can't miss it as there is a huge sign (aka Hollywood) to direct your attention...More
