A walk in the Busosanseong is a must to Buyeo. Once the fortress to Baekje Kingdom, it is now a nice park for strolling around and to learn the history. Don't miss the sunset view over Baegmangang River, it is simply beautiful!

This small hill contains ruins, reconstructions, chipmunks, a temple with a spring of youth (-3 years per cup consumed), a small feral kitten and plenty of places selling icecreams and drinks. It is easy to follow the gently winding path. Quite romantic!

The hike up the mountain is nice and paved for easy walking. The views are beautiful and there is a nice temple. As stated before not much remains of the Baekje dynasty but it is a nice hike with awesome views.

Buyeo is a city with a historic past. Unfortunately the remains of the Baekje dynasty are relatively sparse compared to Silla. This lack of remains is further exacerbated by the historical capitals of Baekje. Whereas Silla's capital had been Gyeongju for about 1,000 years, the...More
