The bridge is of nothing special but the river where it crosses. Right at one side of the river there is this statue of Murasaki Shikibu, the author of the Tales of Genji.

Just loved Uji as a relaxing, authentic Japanese location. So relaxing to walk along the river and cross at one of the many bridges, enjoying the beautiful cherry blossoms in April.
