Stayed in a nearby cottage, couple where helpful and provided chairs on the riverbank for those of us who wasn't going out on a boat. Very good value for money kids loved it.

Very nice lady advised us to go to the cafe first as they close at 4pm whereas the boats stay open until 6pm. Good fun, rowing along the river dogging other boats and low hanging trees!

How late in to October does Ruswarp Pleasure Boats stay open for? Would like to hire a kayak this weekend but uncertain how inclusive the 'April-October' dates are.

not sure but we went in april and they werent open Problem being I think they are owned by a couple who live over the road so they choose when to open would guess they wont bother if the weathers not good
