There is no better way to see our Port than from the water. Take a tour with Nomada Charters for just that. We have the River Rider which is available for one hour sightseeing tours on a pontoon boat. You will take a leisurely trip up Lynn Valley River and into the Black Creek Nature Reserve. Along the way you will see prestigious homes, exquisite yachts and wildlife. While enjoying the sights you will be provided with colourful commentary, peppered with interesting and comical historical lore and a little island music to go with the experience. We also provide private charters and can accommodate bus tours.

I invited my outdoor club to join me for a river cruise using the Nomada Charters. Months before the actual event, I called up Nomada and asked if they will take group reservations, which they did. They didn't ask for a deposit, just that we be there a little bit early so that they can offer seats to the public... More

We had the heads up to buy our ticket-tokens early ... the boat fills up fast on Holiday Mondays. Glad we did as the boat was sold-out 15 minutes before departure. (Not a real problem though - the tours depart hourly) The pre-recorded audio guide is well-paced and knowledgeable -- and the very Live and In-person Captain John adds interesting... More

Looking for something to do vacationing in port dover or turkey point then this cruise is for you! One hour guided tour up the Lynn River to see boats, yachts, tugs, old boat graveyard and rich people's houses on the hills next to the river. It's not really exciting but it something to do other than the beach and stuffing... More

Nice little cruise down the Lynn River aboard a pontoon boat. Great narrative by the captain about the river itself, ships and marinas as well as homes along the banks and the locals that inhabit them. Very affordable - cash only accepted - and convenient - offered many times each day. A great, relaxing way to soak up some sun... More

4 of us took this boat ride. We enjoyed looking at the old boats and beautiful homes up on the hillsides. It was a lovely way to spend a little time on a sunny day.

This little cruise doesn't cost too much, but it especially fun. I highly recommend this cruise if you happen to be in Port Dover!

What a nice river cruise. Not too long, not to short, one hour from start to finish. I really recomend this river tour for the whole family. My kids really enjoyed it, seeing all the nice homes along the river, the marinas, and some wild life. It was very interesting, I really enjoyed it.

This trip consists of a pontoon boat ride up the Nith River last about 25-30 minutes and then back to the harbor dock. While on this leisurely cruise you have the opportunity to photograph the amazing homes that back onto the rivers edge. There are many variety's of boats from little dingy's up to multi million dollar yachts moored in... More

The 'River Rider' tour is informative, relaxing and a great place for photos o' wildlife, boats, shipyards and more. The crew are well informed and entertaining. We will miss cruising out into the lake on the "Kayloe" (relocated to Georgian Bay), but will always make time for a river cruise! Pyrate Approved™

This was a wonderful 1 hour tour up the River. Captain John is friendly and knowledgeable. The tour is well worth the $10.00 Seniors fee.
