We were lucky enough to be the first ones to ride Marko's efat bike trail this season (2022/23). When we arrived at the 'base camp' in the middle of the forest we were greeted by Lappish Tits. Marko feeds them in the winter and they are so friendly. The weather was cold but clear and ideal for amazing pictures and videos. The bikes are great and Marko sets them up perfectly for the prevailing conditions. The trail took us out into the old forest and nature reserve. No one within miles. We stopped at Marko's Kota for a smoked reindeer snack and hot drink before returning to 'base camp'. Excellent fun would thoroughly recommend.

I was guiding a tour in Levi last week and we rented some fatbikes with Hidden Trails. Everything went smoothly, the bikes were already ready and Tytti showed us the way to reach the trail and gave some helpful advice. I would pick them again for future tours in Levi.

Highly recommend this brilliant company. We did the night time forest tour. I had high expectations and they were met. We have never done anything like this before and it was such fun.
Comms with Marko were really good, and the trip was amazing. Marko was fun, friendly , encouraging, patient ( we were tired and repeatly fell off at first !) and knowledgeable. A super evening - thank you.

We found Marko’s company on Instagram and were gobsmacked by the videos that were posted. We booked from the UK before we left and I can honestly say that it was one of the most magical, awe inspiring things I have ever done. To be out in the middle of nowhere in absolute snowy silence was amazing. This excursion is definitely value for money, we were collected from our hotel, we were fed snacks, and lovely hot blackcurrant before cycling back! We saw Elk tracks, tracks of a fox dragging prey and arctic hare tracks!! It was so good we want to do it again next year!! Thankyou so much Marko

First we made a reservation from another shop but ended up changing to Hidden Trails. They have the best bikes in the area and super lovely and helpful staff. We hired eFatbikes for two days.

we did the "E-Fatbike tour through the winter forest".
A wonderful ride through an enchanting forest, we recommend this tour to everybody liking outdoor and biking. A special thanks to Marko.

We had such a lot of fun doing the night e-fat biking tour. It was cloudy throughout our trip so no northern lights visible but it snowed constantly so the forest landscape was magical. This was the most beautiful way to experience the Arctic environment - such a different feeling to some of the highly commercialised tours available. The e-bikes are fantastic and enable an adventure activity that's in harmony with the environment. Marko has created a lovely concept and puts a great deal of effort into ensuring that every detail is perfect; even the break-time snack is presented with great care.
One point to note is that the minimum height is 150cm and although all of us were above that, as short people, we would certainly have had better control if there had been smaller bikes; however we enjoyed falling off into the soft snow a few times!
My 11 year old loved it, although he did get tired as the night tour ended quite late, but the excitement kept him going!
Marko kindly sent us the photos/videos he'd made of our group during the tour and even delivered back a jacket we'd left in the bus before we'd even got back from breakfast the next day!
We can't recommend Hidden Trails enough. Plan the rest of your trip around your e-fat biking tour!

Last week we did the Hidden Trails tour with Marko. 2 weeks before leaving for Äkäslompolo we found out about Hidden Trails Lapland. According to the website this tour was only possible on Thursdays. We already had another tour that day, so I emailed Marko if there was any chance to do the tour another day. Especially for us, he arranged to do it on Tuesday. Marko was a great guide. He stopped when needed, told us about the stunning landscapes and we had a nice break at the hut with some hot juice and a local snack. He really took time for us, even when we wanted to use our drone to record some of the biking and the beautiful nature, which was not possible at other organizations (unfortunately not allowed to put the URL up here).
If you know how to ride a bicycle, I really recommend this tour! On our way back Marko gave us the opportunity to drive as fast as we could, which made it so much fun!

We had a wonderful trip with Marco. The e-bikes were in perfect condition and the trail was well prepared by Marco the night before. It felt like making a trip with a friend, rather then with a commercial organisation. It was great fun riding the bikes, especially because of the power assistance. That made it real easy riding in the snow, which would otherwise have been a bit of a struggle. Marco was very funny and made us feel welcome on his terrain.
